If you follow the comics or some of the games there is a lot of references to Escape from Arkham, admittedly some of the actors were for the sake of the name though taking it purely to the story it is close to the style of the graphic novels.

Rather than watching it expecting happy shiny marvel and the dark Justice League stories approach with an open mind. You will be pleasantly surprised

An very good cast, a good idea but a poor-ish execution only make this an ok thriller. I had high hopes for a lot more but the title alone really gives any idea of a twist away right from the start which was annoying. Hugh Jackman was very good in his role I thought and there are some appearances from Natasha Henstridge (Species, Ghost of Mars) and Maggie Q (Die Hard 4). However it is all too straight forward to work out if you have seen any decent thriller before. Ok for a look but nothing special, you might prefer Derailed instead.

A year in the life of a young woman who moves to New York and gets a job in a high end restaurant. Tess is 22 and lives life to its fullest - that’s if you count drinking hard, taking drugs and hardly sleeping as living hard. She learns a lot about food and wine, but not so much about personal relationships.
This was heralded as the book of Summer 2016, but I’m afraid I found it boring. Nothing much happens, she’s so self-centred as to be a rather unpleasant character. Reading this feels like time I can’t get back, I’m afraid!

a bit slow in the beginning chapters but from around chapter 3, i was hooked. there are a lot of different parts to this story, a love story combined with conspiracy, mystery and suspense. the story contains lots of twists and turns and definitely will keep you hooked. the characters were very easy to connect with and you were able to feel all there emotions. the secondary characters also play important roles within the book which only adds to the story. would definitely recommend but remember to have all the books in the set first.

I read this book a couple of months ago. I liked it a lot. I was able to connect with some of the characters and my only negative opinion about this book would be that I'd have liked to have seen the main character's focal patient, given a bigger story. Picoult really didn't extend on her as well as I'd hoped. The story was believeable, however I was not happy with the ex husband's stance in the beginnging. I guess I'm that way about religion, I don't agree with christians imposing their beliefs on others so strongly.

I thought this film was really interesting and I didn't know what to expect which is always good. I loved Get Out so I was really excited for this and it didn't disappoint. I think I may need to give it a rewatch because there's a lot of information to take in. Part of it feels like it could be a classic chic flic when the mums are just sitting on the beach together and the other half of it is really spooky and weird. Definitely keeps you on the age of your toes and it's unlike anything I've seen before.

i used to love the old style adventure games like Myst, Riven and Schizm and this definitely reminds me of these. Its a clever concept where a young boy get washed up on an island and sets out to find out what mysteries the island holds. A lot of puzzle solving that involves moving objects, lining them up, jumping, climbing and also collecting items and artifacts. Its a beautifully designed game with haunting music and a wonderful and colourful setting. I love it and i would recommend it to those that like puzzle/adventure games

Lolo & Stitch is one of my favorite Disney movies and even though it is mentioned a lot.. Or well Stitch is I still feel like it's a really under rated movie.

The movie is such a heart warming family movie with some of Disney's best characters... I'm talking about Nani she is one of the most underrated characters Disney has ever made in my opinion.

One of my favorite things about it is that doesn't really have a romantic storyline at all it's in the background and it is about makeing your own family and it's just so dang sweet.

Funky fresh show
This show packs a lot in and keeps it moving forward well. Had never read the book so didn't know what to expect. The concept of the story if brilliant and the cast deliver a solid performance. As much as I love David Tennant I kept getting a little frustrated at him doing his best Bill Nighy impression and started the think that maybe Bill Nighy would have been a good choice for Crowley. The show was very satisfying to watch and is definitely one to put on your playlist.

Final Destination (2000)
Final Destination (2000)
2000 | Horror, Mystery
Released 17 years ago in March 2000, Final Destination revolutionised the teen-slasher genre for 00s after Scream did so well for the 90s generation of horror buffs.

The premise was perfectly realised as high-school students tried their best to cheat death after a horrific disaster. The plane sequence in this film still holds up today and remains one of the best horror moments in the last couple of decades.

The acting on the other hand, left a lot to be desired. Though a young Devon Sawa was a magnetic leading presence.
