This is a very good horror film that keeps in the tradition of the other Saw films. For me this is probably the 2nd best of the first four films after the 1st. There is a lot more explanation into why Jigsaw had become what he was. This installment also reveals new plot lines linking the other films. It may be confusing for some, might be worth watching Saw 3 again shortly before watching this. This is due to quite a few flashbacks to the other films, characters and the fact that in the timeline of events most of this film overlaps with the 3rd film. Very gory in places as you expect but a better storyline than the last two films.

A great slow burner...
... But a shame about the ending! I did really enjoy this drama series. It has a great cast, cinematography and a gripping raw, brutal and haunting storyline. It's a very classy production. Definitely one that centres on character study, the murder mystery side almost taking a back seat. The only reason I can't give it a 9 or 10 the ending and final episode felt kinda rushed with a lot of unanswered questions. A twist that came out of nowhere. You have to watch until the end of the credits for a very quick summing up scene. After the pace of the first 7 episodes it was a slightly disappointing end to a great series.

Most of the time the panelists can make you laugh without resorting to offensive mundane jokes
The Countdown aspect is a lot of fun to watch

Bloody Hilarious
I don't really know what to compare the show to.
It's a comedy show that takes on the aspects of the much beloved, but quite boring show 'Countdown'.

Everything about it works, in my opinion. It's light-hearted, there are various guests - many make multiple appearances, and the laughs are constant!

Humour is subjective, yes. But, I urge anyone to give it a go, you might just love it.

Dull and boring
I'm struggling to figure out exactly what they were trying to achieve with this film. Location-wise it is absolutely beautiful, in such a picturesque setting. And the acting for the most part isn't too bad. The main issue with this is the plot, it just completely dull and boring and isn't even wrapped up well at the end. There's a lot of weird odd things going on but none of these are particularly well done. Some parts of this were vaguely creepy, but others happened too fast or were dwelled on for far too long. And let's face it, people facing off against killers and creeps lurking inside their own houses has been done to death. This is nothing new or special.

Good dystopian future regarding population crisis (2 more)
Good storyline
Good cast

I watch and read a lot of dystopian future. Many are about the population crisis. This has used an idea that has already been seen to be used in China and expanded on the idea and the possibilities of its enforcement worldwide. Obviously the likelihood of gm crops causing multiple births is a little farfetched but the way that the scenarios are dealt with really drew me in. And who doesn't like a good government conspiracy?
It would have been nicer to get the know each of the girls a little bit longer so you could link a face/personality to a name, but I suppose that was also the point if it.

I took my daughter to the cinema to watch this film not expecting much at all... I was blown away. From the costumes and the colours, the love story.... The fun! I found myself tapping my feet along to the songs and getting invested in the characters. The songs fit the film beautifully and the actors were picked perfectly. My daughter who is very shy and suffers from anxiety came away feeling great and said to me "you know what it is ok to be different" this is me resonated with a lot of people. A great film and amazing soundtrack. We went onto Spotify and got it as soon as we could!

Time to throw away the key for this franchise...
So wow we are onto the 4th film huh?

Oh its another prequel based off of the psychic woman...

This movie is lacklustre, not great on scares, adds little to the mythos other than a few more questions, and is just plain weak.

I don't really have a lot to say on this, I mean its not terrible...its watchable...the sidekicks are starting to really grate by this point...and all the best moments are essentially versions of moments from other Insidious movies.

Only watch if you are a big fan of the series!

Classic Carpenter!
Director John Carpenter had a lot to live up to and deliver after his striking masterpiece Halloween. He decided to tell an old school ghost story about a coastal town in northern California which is cursed and subject to a mysterious "Fog" which rolls into town and carries ghoulies within its misty depths.

Not as well known or remembered as some other Carpenter works, The Fog still delivers some creepy scares and gruesome death scenes reminiscent of other Carpenter films.

Great cast of vintage horror icons like Janie Lee Curtis, Janet Leigh and Adrienne Barbeau make the story more enjoyable and believable.

The film shows its age in parts, but is still an enjoyable horror classic.

As I've been a fan of the original since I first watched it on the TV at the 12 late night wasn't sure at first if I was gonna like the new version was i disappointed no I liked it a lot I'm glad they ignored all the sequels and the rob zombie versions and give a us a proper sequel that stays true the original from start to finish plenty of gore which I like Jamie Lee Curtis back no longer the hunted but now ready to take down Michael with or without her family plus John carpenter back on the theme it took me back to what I liked about the original thumbs up.

I agree 100%, I went to see this at cinema as I've always loved the Halloween movies, until the most recent ones.
Straight from the off this one felt like it was from the 80's, and I loved how it turned out.
Also got my mum to buy me it for Christmas to add to my collection lol.

This was quite a strange book to get into but once I did I really enjoyed it. I thought the author did a very good job at writing from the view point of an autistic boy.
This is kind of like 2 stories in one in the sense that the theme changes part way through, it flowed quite well, not perfect but it kept my interest. The diagrams were a great idea, however, occasionally I did find them a bit distracting and irritating.
This book was popping up on my GR home page quite a lot with many mixed reviews so I thought I would give it a go and borrow it from my local library. I'm glad I did!
