Turtles in a half attempt at a decent game
So after finally getting to finish this somewhat attempt at a ninja turtles game, I quickly became disappointed at its alternate adaptation on a brilliant cgi movie.
Most of the gameplay is in black and white causing the game-view to become almost unwatchable, with bad camera view & no camera controls making this game feel broken.
A lot of the gameplay was difficult due to not being able to see lower platforms.
On the plus side you are able to switch between playing as each turtle who each have their own special move, unfortunately only the character your playing as appears on the screen at a time. That Sucks!

Great Chanel for those interested in theory and backstories of games
I have watched just about every video on this channel that has to do with games. I tend to enjoy the videos on Nintendo, Five Nights at Freddy's, Hello Neigbor, and of course Zelda.
There is a lot of interesting videos and just about everyone can find something that would interest them on this channel. I just wish the videos for specific games were numbered or something so you know what order to watch them in without having to go through the entire list of uploads to see which one came first. The Five Nights at Freddy's theories were especially bad about playing out of order.

GUYS. GUYS. GUYSSS. Fair warning.
This book. Is dark. Like really dark. It is not disturbing. It is just plain and downright darker than the pits of Hell and it can only get darker by the time the third book comes out.
Strangely, though, I really liked the sequel to The Young Elites – much better than the first one, though now I’m wondering if I would have liked it a lot more if I read the book rather than listening to the audio version. (I’ve always had a fondness for Adelina because helloooo. She is a villain. Villains are up my alley. The librarian spoke the truth.)

A little different
Hard to think of this as a horror as it's a 12a (PG13), however I can see why as it is quite creepy and wouldn't be suitable for younger kids! An intriguing hole in the basement of a new house just has to be checked out by the young brothers, aided by the cute girl next door. They get a lot more than they bargained for when they decide to take the locks off and open the door.
It felt a bit like the 'Burbs/Disturbia, crossed with the Messengers. Which is no bad thing as they are all good films. It has some nice touches, set design and the young actors do a pretty good job. For those who like stronger horror don't be put off by the film rating.

Beautifully understated comedy (nearly a comedy-drama, really) about the lives and loves of a pair of middle-aged metal detecting enthusiasts. Brilliantly written, directed and performed. Part of the considerable charm of the series is that it is so charming and relaxing to watch: the countryside nearly always looks lovely, and the show is a definite slow burn. It takes its time to establish the characters, but the pay-offs, when they come, are superbly funny.
On the other hand, there is genuine tension in the more dramatic storylines, as the characters mess up important life decisions and struggle with their relationships. Very satisfying to watch; anyone who understands the appeal of pursuing an uncool hobby in the company of your best friends will find a lot that resonates here.

Storyline
I normally keep my distance from books that get a lot of hype because, let's be honest, they don't usually deserve it. Even though this book kept popping up all over my feed, the synopsis intrigued me enough to give it a chance.
It's been a while since I've flown through a book. Idk why, but lately it takes me weeks, even if I am enjoying it. The documentary format of this book was original and kept me drawn in. It was like binge watching a docuseries on Netflix. I can't wait to see how the show will come to life and look forward to actually hearing the songs.
If you are looking for your next read, I would definitely recommend Daisy Jones & the Six.

Minimal crystal collection
Fun mobile game.
I have played this game for over 3 years, so it clearly keeps you engaged and coming back for more. The game play is very good and it really brings a lot of Marvel characters to life and not just the more famous characters. The game does a really good job of keeping up with all the Marvel TV shows/films/comics, with the updates to characters, uniforms and storylines.
The only major downfall to the game is over the years that have hidden more and more characters behind paywalls and unless you are a very patient player the collection of crystals can be a grind.
All in all though this is probably one of the best mobile games I have ever played.

Skipping forward 28 years, John Hughes’ jewel in the crown owes a lot to Billy Wilder. It also borrows from every genre in the book. Reflecting its charming protagonist, this film is smart – so much smarter than it first appears. It allows you to be part of it from the very start, directing dialogue right at you out of the screen, and hopes you get every wink, nod and irreverent moment. We’ve all been teenagers, we all sing in the shower, we all lied to our parents, we all wished we could join a parade as guest of honour and drive a Ferrari into a ditch! Cool but geeky. Great music, great laughs, great dialogue, and the character Matthew Broderick will always be. An influence on every teen movie worth its salt ever since!

I can't believe this is the first time I've ever watched this movie. If we're being honest, the plot line doesn't really make a whole lot of sense. Like it does, but it doesn't, ya know? And I know this is supposed to be one of the best rom-com's of all time and I can definitely see that, that makes sense to me. But this plotline is so weird.
I really enjoyed the film, don't get me wrong. It just definitely wasn't what I was expecting. I have this really weird thing about Tom Cruise. I don't know what it is, he's just not one of my favorites, but I really loved him in this film. He had me crying, that's for sure. He's a standout, no doubt about it.

Rolling Stone's 485th greatest album of all time
I listened to this album a lot in my teens. While not Pearl Jam's best/biggest album, it was their newest at the time so more relevant to me. I would have said I loved it then, but I am struggling to see why now. While Last Exit, Corduroy and Better Man are good songs, they don't quite shine enough to let us forget all the nonsense on there. Spin the Black Circle is a dire attempt at punk and the rest is just not great. I think maybe I loved this so much in the 90s because I couldn't stand Eddie Vedder's voice and it seems a little toned down on this album than on others. Not quite as much like the scene in Ted.
