Vegemite Girl (284 KP) rated The Seven Husbands Of Evelyn in Books
May 23, 2019
I didn't Love this book but I certainly didn't hate it either. I understand why it got the hype it did, the writing is great, once I started the book I didn't want to put it down, it had twists and turns throughout but I just didn't find myself loving it as much as I thought and in parts I felt that it kind of drawled on a little. The story premise itself was great and the layout of the story was just right, I feel like the little breaks in Evelyn's story really helped as her story is a lot to take in!

I love this series so much. In this book there is so many unexpected twists and an unexpected ending. Spoiler warning: I wasn't expecting Rixon to be the bad guy and Marcie's father to be his vassal. I love the love story between Patch and Nora as well but, when they broke up and the thing's Patch did pissed me off. I was so happy when they got back together in the end.
Would I recommend? Yes, this book had me in aww

Did not expect to like it as much as I did
I picked this book up on a whim, and was pleasantly surprised! It's a cute little love story, although some parts seemed unrealistic and others predictable.

Captivating
I love this series. Any time I can lose myself in a book and have the outside world melt away while a story is projected in my head via an amazing author, I'm sold and this book definitely filled that criteria.

I cannot say enough good things about this book. Amazing characters who make you fall in love with them immediately, and a wonderful story which keeps you guessing the entire time. I didn't want it to end. Nora Roberts, you've done it again! :)
