This story was so interesting. I liked the characters.. loved how the plot went and it held my attention until I had to keep reading. I love how they went through everything and came out for the better. I also really love dragons so that was a major plus. I am so glad I got to review it and cant wait for book 2

Deep and touching
Remember the titans is a very deep, moving film about one towns love of football while coming to terms with the difficulties of integration in 70s America, the film doesn't shy too far away from this.
The efforts of the coaches to pull the whole team together are deeply felt and uplifting.
Movies like this show that love can trump hate.

"“I love that book. It’s clever, that book, because the environmental that they’re living in is so unremittingly pessimistic that he’s able to weave this extraordinarily sentimental story about the love between father and son and completely get away with it. The end speech that the dying father gives his son about carrying the fire … if you take that out of context it reads completely differently."

"Bloom is talking about love, yes, but there’s nothing ordinary about any of the love stories in this book. There’s always a catch, and there’s always something that takes her story into unfamiliar terrain. As I read her book, I became almost frightened to see where she’d take me next. It was always someplace I’d never been; but in the end it felt very much like home."

I love Colin and his man bun!

At the start I wasn't sure how the author was going to play it. Was she leaning Jessie's way or was she going to go Colin's? In the end I'm glad it was Colin. I fell in love with him as easy as Blair did. He's an amazing guy!

I look forward to reading Isla's story too.

I enjoyed Big Rock, but I have to be honest - I didn't love it. The plot was so cliche, a "been there, read that" familiarity. In fact, it was so cliche, I had hoped through the first half that Lauren was tricking us into thinking those two best friends would fall in love with each other. Despite the utter predictability, I did enjoy the story.

This movie is my childhood. Howl is the guy I aspire to be with and Sophie is the whimsical beauty I wish I could be. It is by far my favourite Studio Ghibli movie and will continue to be far into the future. I love the story and the romance, how Howl and Sophie battle things together and eventually realise their love for each other. Beautiful.
