One of the best books that I have ever read!!!

If you are not an avid reader the size of this book might dissuade you from even cracking it open, but don’t let it. Acheron is part of The Dark Hunter Series. If you’ve read any of the other books in this series and had questions, this one answers them all. Tears, laughter, hate, anger, shock, love, and more tears. You will be familiar with all of these and much more. Unfortunately, I had to put the book down, even I couldn’t finish it in one sitting...

Acheron’s tale is one that you wouldn’t wish on your worst enemy. His story goes all the way back to his beginning. It tells of a mothers love and hate. A brothers love and hate. Gods and Goddesses, love and hate, lust, dominance, forgiveness, sorrow, all rolled into one book.

I absolutely fell in love with this series from page 1! Incredible MC series that follows so many great characters where the guys are all just a bunch of big softies for their women. ;-) I love everyone in this group.. the brothers are tough, alpha bikers who would do anything to protect their women and families. The ladies have all gone through so much and are all so different but all such interesting characters each with crazy stories and pasts of their own.

I've said this in past reviews throughout this series but what I love the most about it is that it follows everyone.. one book does not just cover one character or couple, but you are able to follow along with everyone's story throughout. LOVE IT! I've laughed and cried, feeling so close to these characters and am so sad I've finally reached the end. CAN'T WAIT for more books in this series!! HIGHLY recommended!!

GoodFellas (1990)
GoodFellas (1990)
1990 | Crime, Drama, Thriller

"That’s sort of the oldest movie I still love, meaning a movie from my youth that I still can’t get enough of. It’s just so exciting, and – this is gonna sound douchey – there’s more propulsion to that movie than any movie that’s ever been made, it feels like. It’s just so fast. It’s like a car accelerating, and it just never stops accelerating. I mean, think about the beginning sequence of that movie: It’s so fun, and it ends with the coke sequence. I can’t imagine a movie that just keeps going that hard. It’s tremendous. Obviously, [there’s] such a performance from Pesci. I am deathly afraid of this small man. And Bracco: She’s amazing. That to me is another thing – I love portrayals of weird marriages. I feel like Husbands and Wives is my favorite Woody Allen movie. [Goodfellas] is a perverse love story at the end of the day, and I love it."

Sunset Boulevard (1950)
Sunset Boulevard (1950)
1950 | Classics, Drama

"Sunset Boulevard is the ultimate film noir for me. It has this incredibly unpleasant main character, who is played with a lot of charm by William Holden, and he thinks he’s really smart, and it turns out that he’s kind of in over his head. I love the environment. I love the way the story is told in flashbacks. I love the sense of Los Angeles. I love the humor in it — it’s a really funny movie — and it’s just one of those iconic things that, if you know the movie, you run into it once a month in some way, especially living in L.A. It’s got great lines in it. There’s incredible dialogue, incredible visual moments. Surprises. It’s a horror movie and a comedy at the same time; it’s all over the place in terms of genre. When I first saw it, I just couldn’t believe that it was a big Hollywood movie made by a studio because it’s so peculiar."
