"Oh man, is there a funnier and more poignant film that captures the anarchic irreverence of that period? It’s just perfect, from start to finish, in my book. Ridiculously quotable with mad, perfect performances across the board. Richard E Grant is pure genius, but everyone in the film gives amazing and hilarious and heartbreaking performances. Again, I think loneliness and isolation, and a desire to belong play big parts in this one. The story is as much a love story between the two leads as anything, with a very sad break-up of sorts taking place at the very end; with Withnail left out in the rain."

"An obvious influence on Food Party. That was the first food film I ever saw. It was really exciting for me to see someone focus a whole movie on food, you know? I’ve never seen that before. I like making my own art and [that is Tampopo‘s] subject matter, but with food. But I also like the tangents that it takes. Basically there’s a main story, and there’s a love story. And the subplots are really incredibly visual, too. Two lovers are passing raw egg yolk back and forth. Then he’s, like, dipping her boob in fresh egg whites. There’s a sausage fight. It’s a really joyful movie."

A story of brotherly love... (0 more)
Ten year old Marty loves his brother Steve. But Steve has been acting very weird recently and Marty is about to reveal the shocking truth as to why...

Written from the perspective of Marty this is a well written and gruesome little novel of how situations can quickly escalate and spiral out of control. Fast paced, the darkest of humour and plenty of blood and gore keep this twisted story going at full pelt for its brief 137pages. Highly recommended for those that have a strong disposition and cast iron gut!

Regular Characters not fully utilised (0 more)
Was expecting great things from this latest entry into the beloved franchise and though it had some delightful moments but ultimately it felt like a quick money grab by disney

The introduction of new characters like duke caboom and forky worked very well, but unfortunately regular characters like slinky, rex and the rest of the gang were hardly seen.

The story itself was nothing special, the idea that bonnie would fall in love with a fork over all the toys she had was a bit silly.Toy story 3 had the perfect ending to the trilogy and the series should have stopped there.
