I had heard a lot of good things about this book and admittedly I was quite late to the party. But I'm glad that I managed to nab myself a copy from the library to read. This book has definitely revived my love for Greek mythology. The story of Circe is really well written and I love how it encompasses other areas of Greek mythology like Odysseus and Prometheus. At times I did find my mind wandering as there were areas that didn't grab my attention as much as others but it was brought back quite swiftly. I will definitely be reading more of this author's works!

"Big Night, the Stanley Tucci movie. Yeah, it feels like a play. It feels like you are watching this beautiful bare bones version of filmmaking. Especially after all of the big event or spectacle films, it just feels so simple and so beautiful, and it’s a heartbreakingly beautiful story about learning what’s important. Also, I love to cook, and cooking is such a big, pivotal part of that movie, and Tony Shalhoub is amazing in it, as is Stanley Tucci. It’s just a great cast, a great film, superbly written, superbly directed, and just nice and simple and bare bones, and I love that about it."

Hmm...this one didnt quite grab me, either, like the first two did. As much as i love Quinn and the last half of this book, the first half with Cora...well, i just wanted to throw my kindle/laptop/phone because it felt so wrong! She was so horrible and Quinn was so lovely.

One thing i do love about this series, though, is how close this gang is. They all rib and tease each other but will stick up for each other in a heartbeat. It's so nice!

I can't wait to read Ten and Caroline's story so I'm off to start it right now :D
