A poetic narration, a story that twists away from predictability. This book will make you hope, and dream, and cry, and love all the characters - friends, heroes, villains and true-villains.

I picked this book up from my local library because I had seen it had quite a fandom online. I was pulled in from page 1 and now join the ranks of the caraval obsessed. It truly is a lovely book, with characters that dance off the page.

I'm sure teenage boys will love it? Maybe?

Dear lord! The quest makes no sense, there is no surprising twist, it is trite and superficial, disjointed and played like a teenage malcontent's dream. The actors do their best, and I am clearly not the target audience, but I had hoped the visual medium would make the story watchable. Sadly it does not.

Romeo and Julie know nothing of romance

This is a tale of true love with plenty of action thrown in for good measure.
Christian slater at his best with several other big names thrown in for good measure Gary Oldman, James Gandolfini, Dennis Hopper, Christopher Walken.
There is nothing these 2 crazy kids won't do for each other.
I don't have much more to say, watch it and find out.
You won't regret it.

Not fussed

I love doctor who but this season has been terrible, I feel sorry for the actors really. The problem is the writers, the story lines are shockingly bad, they are so bad that my daughter who is obsessed with doctor who refuses to watch it after she saw the 1st episode, it devastated her at how bad it was. It really doesn't feel like you are watching doctor who anymore.

The typical love story with family drama and tension but with a twisted ending. William Shakespeare is an excellent writer. As a teenager, Romeo and Juliet was quite difficult to read. But rereading it as an adult, I understood every little sneer and joke that was in each conversation.

I loves this film as a kid. I would love to be able to get my hands on a copy that isn't VHS. The film tells the story of Hans Christian Anderson. Through the film and his travels he tells his famous stories to different audiences through song. These include, The Ugly Duckling, The Emperor's New Clothes and Thumbalina. After all the years since I've watched it I can still recall the songs clearly.
