I don't know how to start. I assume that everything I say will make the special effect of this book to disappear. There's one thing I learned from this book. We all have to die. It's the way it is. We can't change our Judgment Day. But we can define all our days before that day. The girl, Heizel, made me think about what it looks like to be diagnosed with cancer. I can't imagine it. She made me realize how lucky I am to be 17 and to be perfectly fine. It also made me think and not to forget that it all can actually change. As the teacher in the movie ,,Dead Poets Society'' said: Carpe diem - Seize the day. I realized I have to spend everyday like it is my last. But not to try to be remembered by all the people, but to be loved by the people that I also love. This is not a perfect Hollywood love story ok.. This is a reality show, it's exactly described as it is - painful and awful life. The one we all have to live...

Top notch filmery!
Ok, so where do I start? This is my favourite film and i could write about it all day! This film has every single emotion you can think about, i laughed, cried, felt angry, laughed again and cried and pretty much just fell in love with the film.

Mcmurphy is moved from prison to a psychiatric hospital as they think he is showing signs of being mad! When he gets there he starts to reveal that he is quite obviously not mad and is just a rebel!

He starts to bring life into the hospital doing some crazy things and also trying to drive the head nurse Mrs ratched crazy! They seem to have a love hate relationship. The patients who have never had any chaos in the hospital are all taking a real shine to mcmurphy and are becoming more and more chaotic which causes miss ratched to become extremely angry and nervous, she has a tightly run ship!

The actors in this film are top and do an amazing job of acting out the story, especially jack nicholson, he is just amazing and really gets you believing he is mcmurphy.

Aurora Whittet is a new author to me. She did a wonderful job describing this lifeform that Ashing Boru is. We meet Ashing Boru, and she is to go to meet her father. Her father tries to marry her off. This gets a little more complicated.

Ashing needs protecting and she does not know why or even understand. But has she goes about her life and taken away from her family. She starts to grow and once her brothers Mund and Quinn and family show up. She wonders why. They have come to protect Ashing.

There are some really surprise and twist that come about. We meet Grey. We do not know if he is or what he becomes. He seems to love Ashing Boru. Ashing Boru seems to love Grey. Who is he, and what will happen and will Grey protect Ashing? What has happened to Grey’s mother, and who is Grey’s father.
The story gets even more interesting has you turn the page. Aurora has made it so suspenseful that it hard to put down. It pulls at you. Who could be after Ashing Boru?

Love/hate relationship of main characters (0 more)
Great modern take on vampire genre
I won this book in a giveaway by Smashbomb, thank you. That said, it will not influence my review.

I haven't read many books with a prologue, this one had one and set the book up nicely that it wasn't going to shy away from the gruesome, being a vampire story you would expect nothing less.

The main characters Taz (no relation to Warner Bros one that ate everything) and Morgana (Morgan) I liked pretty much straight away for their love/hate relationship in and out of the bedroom (Some steamy scenes, be warned). Taz, arrogant, egotistical and generally full of himself, then you have Morgan, she reminded me of Selene from Underworld films in that she took no nonsense and was her own woman. They are forced to work together to solve the gruesome murders that threaten to uncover the centuries hidden vampire world that Kayla (human) thinks she is very close to uncovering.

A book that you can't put down, full of excitement, sex and vampiric action. I would highly recommend it and can't wait to read the next book.

I can't emphasize enough how much I love this book! From the minute I read the synopsis a couple months ago I absolutely could not wait to read it. Having just finished it, I can't come up with any sort of criticism for the purpose of this review lol it was truly a superb fantasy adventure. The author went above and beyond creating a world so richly detailed and immersive that I half expected to see some of the creatures running around outside any time I was forced to put the book down. The characters were all well developed and relatable. The writing style was great, it had me hooked from the start and was detailed without being bogged down with unnecessary information and had me laughing out loud numerous times. The story develops at a nice pace, everything falls into place without feeling rushed or drawn out and the action never lets up. Kings of the Wyld is definitely one of my all time favorite fantasy adventure stories! I would love to see it as a tv series. Super excited to read the next book in the series!

I LOVE Christmas! And I LOVE coloring books! What better way to celebrate the season than by coloring a Christmas book? Beginning on December 1 this devotion will carry you through Christmas to New Year's Eve. Each devotion is only one page long and the opposite page is a full picture to color in. The perfect way to relax and express creativity while keeping Christ at the focus of Christmas. Filled with beautiful pictures of angels, nativity scenes, stars, winter, scripture, and patterns. At the end of the book there are Family Activities. Verses and conversation starters and prayer, to discuss Christmas as a family and keep or sights on Jesus in the middle of a busy season. Extra coloring pages are included at the end of the book as well. A beautiful way to bring the story of Christmas into our daily routine. If you enjoy coloring books, this is the perfect one to begin your holidays.

I received a free copy of All is Bright from Tyndale Publishers. I was not required to write a positive review. All opinions expressed are mine alone.

Luca and Jo have been best friends forever. He has seen her at her worst and Luca is very protective over her. When they were young, Jo had a heart condition and he collapsed right there in front of him. Since then, Luca has made it his mission to make sure no harm will come to her. But Jo is no longer the fragile little girl she used to be and she would love to prove that to Luca. But he just wants to be friends and she doesn't want to ruin that, or does she?

Thank you to Frankie Love and C.M. Seabrook for the opportunity to read and review this book.

What would you do if you had feelings for someone for years, but were afraid to express them because you didn't want to lose a friendship. Isn't that the age old story. We're such good friends, I don't want to ruin the friendship. But what if you both felt the same way about each other. How long could you go holding the feelings in? For Jo and Luca the time as come to see whether they'll be able to make it as more than friends.

Elemental Magick is the first book in The Donovan Coven series. We start off with the Grimoire itself as it tries to ensure it becomes Aaron's. There is instant attraction between Malakai and Aaron, quickly followed by proclamations of love and being soul mates. If you don't like insta-love, trust me, you probably won't like this book.

The story itself is fast-paced, quickly moving from one scene to another without a real chance to get to know each character. It flows nicely though, so as long as you're prepared to go with the flow and not dive too deep, you'll be fine. As you might expect, Aaron is a whiz at magic, even though he's a newbie. And at least one of his friends is a latent witch too.

This was a brilliant book, full of action both in and out of the sheets. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more in the series.

* A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book, and the comments here are my honest opinion. *

Someone to Watch over Me (1987)
Someone to Watch over Me (1987)
1987 | Action, Drama, Mystery
I doubt that many people would realise that this is one of Ridley Scott’s earlier films. From the opening scene you will notice a distinct Ridley Scott feel to it. The sweeping shot of New York’s Chrysler building could mirror a scene from the sci-fi classic Blade Runner.

Someone to Watch Over Me is a thriller in which a woman who witnesses a murder is sent to protective custody, there she falls for her bodyguard detective. It’s a fairly clichéd film in that it takes portions film noir as well as a classic love affair.

Tom Berenger plays the recently promoted detective who must control his desires for the women he is protecting. Claire Gregory played by Mimi Rogers is an innocent, sexy high class aristocrat who wants what she knows she cannot have.

It dips from thriller to love story and has interludes of high tension thrown in as an afterthought. The backdrop of a self obsessed 1980s America works very well and Scott’s direction is astute as it is clinical with great locations and camera shots. An average thriller but enjoyable nonetheless

If you like Big Little Lies, you'll love this (0 more)
I enjoyed this book as it was about the lives of the people as well as the solving of the crime.
It is definitely a book I would normally read. I love crime books.
I couldn't put the book down. I was hooked although it did take me a few chapters to get into it.
When the characters were 'speaking' especially the girls I could hear that voice. This is down to how the author described them.
Once the detectives started putting some of the pieces it place they quickly fell into place in my mind so I figured it out before it was fully revealed.
The characters and location of the book reminded me of Big Little Lies - the TV show. The story was different but the characters and location were definitely similar.
The book would be best for people who like a crime book - but I would say females in their late 20's to 40's.
It definitely exceeded my expectations from the blurb.
I would 100% read the next book if there was one.
