I really enjoyed this (as you may have gathered by the amount of time it’s taken me to read it) and couldn’t help but urge Cass to leave her abusive boyfriend and to run away with Tucker. A slightly crazy move when she’d only known him a few days, but for me, if I can become emotionally involved, then it’s a good book. And I was so emotionally involved in this.

Tucker was a charmer and I think I seriously fell for him in those first few pages. Then when he sticks up for her, considering he doesn’t really know her, when her boyfriend comes in I went all *sigh* swooning.

Cass on the other hand has never believed she was worthy of more than she had and that was kinda hard to read. To believe you being hit and pushed around is all you deserve simply because you’re hiding a bit of money away in the hopes of a better life is quite sad and I really felt for her.

But then Tucker appeared and showed her she could have more and again *sigh*

As you may have gathered I quite liked this book and I’m looking forward to reading more from Cass and Tucker :)

I have just four words for you: GO READ THIS BOOK.

Katherine Kitty-Katt is a force to reckon with and her determination to save the world is why I enjoyed her character so much. It's a lot like a superhero comic where the character themselves is so invested in their cause that you can't help but be invested in it too. Not to mention, the main character is married woman who makes matrimony sexy - proving that it's not the end of Independence for a woman. If anything, she and Jeff were a power couple and I love how well they worked together while maintaining separate identities.

I’m serious, people. Aliens Abroad brought fresh elements to the science-fiction novel and it drew me in like the gravitational pull of a black hole. It’s the kind of story that left me anxiously chewing the inside of my cheek as my heart raced and I couldn’t (much to my own disdain) read fast enough. From the first page, I was tangled in the story and invested in all the characters. Nothing is more important than that for me, and it’s why I recommend you launch yourself into this book.
