Stupid, to be sure (Kiefer Sutherland gets his ass kicked by a supernatural 8-year-old on multiple occasions) - and I do side with the critiques that this could have been a lot deeper, but this is still completely righteous. A ghostly, heavily portentous, lush modern day gothic-medical melodrama that came out in the 90s yet *screams* 1985 right down to the haircuts. Try to picture 𝘚𝘵. 𝘌𝘭𝘮𝘰'𝘴 𝘍𝘪𝘳𝘦 as a gen X YA horror flick. One of my all-time favorite film premises, and even Schumacher's (RIP) supporters I don't think give him enough credit for making all these interesting camp spectacles that - of all things - you can hardly say are unoriginal *nor* forgettable. A bunch of medical students chill out in an old cathedral thing which doubles as a medical lab where they perform clandestine death experiments on each other out in the open and argue about who can die the longest lmao, it's whoppingly silly stuff that thankfully takes itself dead (no pun intended) seriously. Pulpy, moody, atmospheric, and just looks extraordinary to boot - the visuals really tie that bind between our world and whatever lies beyond in an increasingly unstable way, as if some sort of constant (losing) struggle. So good that I actually even liked the infamous sentimental ending.

Soooo good!
This show! I read that a lot of the US medical professionals are up in arms over it because of the way the show looks at profit vs care. I absolutely love it. I love the character development, the storylines, the subplots.
The series finale had me on the edge of my seat. I cannot wait for season 2!

Dr. Gupta takes his readers on a wild ride through modern medical science. I learned so much from this book! It was interesting, fast-paced, informative, but also held a certain amount of adventure and suspense as Gupta tells stories and relates interviews with people who have had amazing experiences with life and death—and in-between. Prepare to have your mind boggled with modern day science written in easy-to-understand and easy-to-follow prose.
Audio review: The audio-book was read by the author, and he is one of the best readers I’ve listened to. Gupta takes pride in his own work, and it shows through his voice. It’s not too fast or slow, is read with energy, and is enjoyable and engaging.
Recommendation: Ages 16+ to anyone who likes non-fiction, medical thrillers, or thrillers of any kind.

The women's murder club take on two cases. The first involves either murder or medical malpractice at a hospital. The second involves murdered women being left in expensive cars. Both were good stories, although the climax was so bad it killed much of the enjoyment for me.

Laughter can help cure
This a true story about Hunter "Patch" Adams who wants nothing more than to help people. He attends medical school and is disliked by most professors becuase of his attitude towards medicine. He takes an unconventional method in using humor to help the people t heal. Of course there are a few who belive in him and even some of the medical staff. However the teaching professors disagree and try their best to stop him from becoming a dr. He fights and graduates and ending up opening a institute called the Gesundheit Institute which treats a more form of holistic care and treats all patients big and small.
This a very Dark Comedy with an sand and great ending. Only the Late great Robin Willliams (RIP) could have player this character and shown what type of person this character is.

8 Awesome Lethally Good things about Cara Putman's new book!
• Cara Putman opens your eyes to just how far some people will go to find a cure
• From the first page, Cara Putman focuses on the details, explaining things (like medical terminology) through Caroline and her new job at a medical research company
• The legal and medical terminology added a great layer to this story and really made the whole thing totally realistic in its intensity
• Cara Putman wrote this story as if You were there with Caroline learning all this information for the first time and figuring out exactly what was going on, which I believe made it that much more compelling and it hooked me from the first page
• The characters are spot on, both Caroline and Brandon play off each other and show the intricacies of a couple learning how the other thinks and processes information
• I LOVED how Caroline was strong in her convictions or wrong and right; and how she was willing to stand up for what she believed in, no matter the personal costs
• Brandon... What a soft teddy bear with the heart of a lion for the kids in his care. I truly loved his patient nature and how he was so concerned with the kid’s welfare. Cara Putman did a great job drawing out his character and giving little mysterious hints about his background throughout the whole story
• The combination of suspense, mystery, thrill, and the medical end to this story was such a good combination that kept me up way past bedtime
Cara Putman weaved a wonderfully dramatic story set amid an up and coming cure being found! It was fun to learn from the characters the processes involved as well as learning what can hypothetically be done to medically treat people. I really enjoyed this experience with Cara Putman, and I am already looking forward to my next book from her. 4 out of 5 stars.

Doctor Autumn Johnson is convinced that someone wants the promising young researcher, Jay Abrams, dead.
And as a newly minted medical intern, Autumn tries to outsmart death on behalf of her patients every day. But she just cant seem to get it right. Not knowing the answers her residents expect her to, prescribing the wrong meds, and nearly passing out as a patient is wheeled into the ICUis not how she had pictured herself as a physician.
Determined to do better, Autumn decides to prove someone tried to kill Jay. When the trail leads her to Jays mysterious notes, Autumn has little time to discover who wants Jay, and now her, dead. With the help of the only other intern she can call a friend and a self-destructive perfectionist for a supervising resident, Autumn will have to solve a mystery that reaches deep inside the medical establishment, threatening us all.
This was a great medical thriller.
This story is told from two different points of views, the patient's, and the doctor's, which I really liked.
Very suspenseful and cleverly written. Had me gripped from start.
This one started off with a bang and never let off. So many twists and turns which kept me guessing to the end.
Really enjoyed reading.

The start of a wild journey
The series follows Meredith Grey who is a surgical intern at Seattle Grace. The series gets off to a rocket start with Meredith unknowingly sleeping with an attending at the hospital the night before she starts her internship. As well as following Meredith, the show also follows the other interns who work alongside her. A lot of dark comedy as well as real world relationship and medical woes.
