Dark Scary Stories

This movie was very good, i jumped couple of times. I thought this movie was rated R, because of some of the death sences, cut to the first one. But it turns out its PG-13 and man oh man that first death sence was terrorfying and horrorfying. Guilmoro Del Toro only produces this film, but i wish he also directed. He knows how to make monsters scary and make monsters look terrorfying. I didnt read the short horror series of books. So i went in not knowing anything. I do want to read then know, because of this movie.

I would highly reccordmend going to see this film because it is very good.

Started off well and the actors were great

It starts off with another set of "loser club" like kids. They were a pretty decent set of actors although their characters make some questionable decisions (but dont all characters in horror). The monsters were so well-made and didn't rely heavily on CGI which was really fantastic.
The ending was very predictable and the scares got lost and folky tales got completely lost.
Now im gonna have to read the book and hope that the sarah bellows storyline was made up for the movie, as that was weird and didn't quite cut it for a background story.

I'm always a fan of a deckbuilder. This one works well to balance magic and fight to buy cards to chain and to fight monsters. There are many different strategies to accumulate victory points. I've played almost all of the expansions, however we mixed them so I'm not sure which ones we've played.

Good movie

This silent hill movie was a little better than thw first one. I liked that it went into the character of Sharon more and what her role really way. The cgi for the monsters was really good and the storyline was well made.
