Monkey Good, Humans Bad
Godzilla vs. Kong suffers from what other versus films such as Freddy vs. Jason or the Alien vs. Predator films also suffered from. These films put too much value in humans when the audience just wants to see more of the on-screen monsters they either paid hard money or chose to stream to see. That’s why if Legendary chooses to keep this franchise going they should do All Monsters Attack or something involving Monster Island next where humans can be spectators at best and monsters wreak havoc for up to two straight hours. Stop feeding fans unbearable human excretion and trying to pass it off as Godzilla gold.

If you have watched any Japanese Godzilla movie you will find useless human storyline in every one. That is the way it is. That is what makes those movies great.

They are a part of most Godzilla films, but I disagree with that being something that makes them great. Godzilla typically has 27 minutes of screen time or less in each film, so the human element is expected. Give me one film that reverses that; 90 minutes of Godzilla and or other kaiju fighting or demolishing cities and less than 30 minutes of humans. If it isn't well received by fans or the box office then I'll shut up. Personally though, that's all I want in a Godzilla or kaiju film.

Scary and Spooky
Amnesia: The Dark Descent- is a terrorfying, horrorfying, spooky, scary, creepy game.

The game features a protagonist named Daniel exploring a dark and foreboding castle, while trying to maintain his sanity by avoiding monsters and other terrifying obstructions.

Amnesia: The Dark Descent is a first-person adventure game with survival horror elements. The player takes control of Daniel, who must navigate Brennenburg Castle while avoiding various dangers and solving puzzles. The gameplay retains the physical object interaction used in the Penumbra series, allowing for physics-based puzzles and interactions such as opening doors and fixing machinery.

In addition to a health indicator, Daniel's sanity must be managed, centered around an "afraid of darkness" mechanic. According to designer Thomas Grip, "the idea was basically that the darkness itself should be an enemy." Sanity is reduced by staying in the dark for too long, witnessing unsettling events or looking directly at monsters. Low sanity causes visual and auditory hallucinations and an increased chance of attracting monsters, while its complete depletion results in a temporary drop in mobility, or death in higher difficulties.

Hiding in dark areas where monsters will not notice Daniel is also effective, but will decrease Daniel's sanity. In higher difficulties, the monsters will move faster, deal more damage and search for Daniel for longer periods of time.

Its a excellent survival horror game and a must play.

Off the charts. Never read anything like this before a unique blend of pop/cartoon/book teen kid detective trope and H. P. Lovecraft monsters you will ever meet. I couldn't put it down.

Basically, a big-budget scrap fest based in the 'MonsterVerse' that was kicked off by 'Kong: Skull Island' (which, IMO, is still the best of the movies in that series) before expanding to also include 'Godzilla: King of the Monsters', with Godzilla and Kong both positioned as apex beings on planet Earth; both unwilling to give up their dominant position.

Basically, an excuse to have the two monsters fight each other, and against a returning foe from an earlier movie.

"Another movie I really like is Carry on Screaming! For my money, it’s the best of the Carry On movies. It has Dan Dann the Lavatory Man, and also [chuckles] Oddbod and Oddbod Junior, the two monsters."
