Those of you that love sci-fi reading either know of or should be familiar with Harry Harrison's "Stainless Steel Rat" series.
It's a futuristic Robin Hood style story with the action and intrigue of James Bond with the moral flexibility of Han Solo.
It's amazing that this has never made it to the big screen, seeing as how it has most genres covered: action, mystery, thriller, romance, science, technology, fantasy, sci-fi, politics and family.

It's easy reading, go enjoy the trip.

Thanks for reminding me of that series. I enjoyed it, too. May be time for a reread.

The illustrations are bright and colorful. The pictures represent the words in the book. The author did a really good job with it. It is good for young readers.

Young children can see the pictures while the parent, older brother or sister read the book. I like the fact that it easy poem and meaningful. The story has a moral and explains that God or our Lord created it. It has faith in it and explains it in the best way.

Disturbing for its anthropological truths
I was pretty blown away by the subject matter. What if the tables were completely turned? Women in power, no longer in servitude. The level of violence only reflects the reality that women face daily. An extremely difficult but clever look at societal inequality from the other shoe.

There were times I lost track as the action became overwhelming but the fundamental moral remained true. Dark and disturbing but is it dystopian? Hard to say because that's the reality for many today.
