In a dying camp, two prisoners confront an impossible question: will hope or deception be their path to survival?

Today’s Guest Post for A Most Unlikely Man: A Tale of Resistance by J.P. Rieger explores "What inspired you to delve into the moral complexities of survival, loyalty, and deception within one of history’s darkest moments?"

Blending #WWII history with touches of #MagicalRealism, this powerful #HistoricalFiction novel is featured as part of the #TheCoffeePotBookClub #BlogTour.

Fun (yet muddled) film with a good message.
Like its obvious cousin I Feel Pretty, Isn't It Romantic has a message to give its audience. From the opening scene, you know what that message is and where this story is going. And that's the point. While some of the jokes don't quite land and the movie seems to run just a bit longer in spots than necessary, Rebel Wilson does her usual comedic best to carry the film. A final twist plainly smacks the viewer with the moral of the film and finally concludes predictably. While muddled in spots, love the message of the film and had some fun.

Workaholic Howard (Schwarzenegger) has been missing time with his son and wants to make things right with him and wife, Liz. promising to get Jamie the hottest toy of year, Turbo-Man. Although it's Christmas Eve and the toy is practically sold out, Howard is determined to get the gift he promised, during this quest, Howard meets Myron (Sinbad), another father on the same quest. With the clock ticking , Howard's moral code is tested as he starts to learn the true nightmare before Christmas (lol).

Great comedy and plenty of gags, a heartwarming story with a perfectly set tone and plenty of Christmas joy, this is a Christmas classic.
