osifna i wish you had indicated a genre you like but here are a few of my favorites
movies: sleeping with other people if you like romantic comedies, friends with benefits as well, the boondock saints for action, gone girl for a thriller, and marie antoinette for a period-ish "costume drama" as they call it, psych the movie for like a "crime comedy"
books: dare me by megan abbott, anything by donna tartt, anything by gillian flynn, anything by paula hawkins, anything by stephen king, fight club by chuck palahniuk
tv shows: grace and frankie, jane the virgin, i've heard good things about black mirror and stranger things though i haven't really seen those, PSYCH!, community!! (i don't really watch tv anymore so some of these might've already ended)

Books? Oh my god, are you in for a treat. If you're looking for something funny, My Lady Jane, or A Gentlemen's Guide to Vice and Virtue. If you are willing to read insane amounts of smut, A Court of Thorns and Roses. Action? Throne of Glass, and Harry Potter of course. If you're willing to collapse into a sobbing mass of tears, Indigo Blue - super short, super sad, extra sweet. More would be, The Wrath and The Dawn, Caraval, and Sophie Someone. And, of course, Six of Crows. Check my 2018 to-read list for more highly recommended books.
