Moving, poignant story of a parent's grief. But for me it was let down by a slightly corny ending. Overall this was a thought-provoking but easy read.

"I was gripped by this series and couldn’t drag myself away from it. Ellis beautifully captures childhood in war-torn Afghanistan and Pakistan. The stories are very moving"

I was pleasantly surprised by this movie. You start out with a plethora of questions and, unlike in many modern day thriller/horror movies, you actually get a majority of them answered. A lot darker than I was expecting it to be. Though some points, especially in the beginning, are a little slow moving, once it gets moving, it doesnt stop. Would recommend any horror fans give it a chance.

Clever, feel good movie. (3 more)
Witty dialogue.
Enormously enjoyable.
Great love story, without being solely a chick flick.
Funny, moving story that tugs at the heartstrings without turning into mush.

"As a society, there are people whom we regularly ignore. Morrison brings you close to these people. Close enough to touch and be touched. Moving, riveting, maddening, glorious stuff."

"If only for Rod Steiger’s performance in Marty. I think that could be the best performance I’ve seen. It’s so unbearably moving. The quality of his voice is heartbreaking."
