"Nothing tops this workingman’s ballad. ‘Free Bird’ fit my life for the first 20 years on the road — not really getting too attached to stuff, living life for the moment and moving on."

"They call this masterpiece ‘magical realism’, but I hate the label. Real it is, human and passionate and endlessly moving and compelling. It’s about family, relationships, fate, time. And ghosts. And solitude. Marvelous."

"I think it’s a timeless movie. You watch it now and it hasn’t dated one inch. I think it’s incredibly… it’s just staggering, and it’s so moving. That’s a really brilliantly directed movie."

Finally done moving. TV is set up. Watched Pulp Fiction for the first time in probably 10 years. It has aged well. Plan on spending more time on here once unpacking is finally finished!

"About the working life of Gilbert and Sullivan and what it takes to create a work of art. Jim Broadbent and the rest of the cast nail it down. Original, moving, but never sentimental."
