"It’s a film like the other two, in a way, which has grown as I’ve grown; it’s changed with me. You think of films as being finished, completed things that never change, but actually they do change — because we change. And so a film like Close Encounters, when I first watched it — when I was much younger — it scared me to death, and now it’s a film that I find intensely moving. It’s an almost spiritual film. Spielberg is just, I think, a genius in being able to tell a very simple story and get to something so complex and profound. I think he does in E.T. as well, to a certain extent, but this one I find one of the most moving films I’ve ever seen."

This isn't the type of book I would usually read, but I really enjoyed it. It was funny, moving, and surprisingly sad in places, and almost made me cry on the train! It also many correct insights about living in (particularly north) London, and I feel that it will now occupy a soft spot in my heart.

My review for Half a King is now up, though a warning it does contain some minor spoilers from early in the book and possibly some later if you connect the dots. Anyway with 35 minutes before the deadline it's better than last time.
I'll now be moving on to the second book on this series 'Half a War'.

Although we may not be 100% clear on the meanings of each song, the compositional techniques emotionally connect the listener and Shakira, from floor stomping, hip shaking hits to moving, heart warming ballads, El Dorado has everything.

There is not a dull moment in this series. From the first episode to the last, it is not stop brain-scratching, edge of the seat drama. So many of Michael's plans are so complex and rely on so many moving parts that it is thoroughly engaging and thrilling.
They should probably have stopped at one series.

this was an interesting read.. it wasn't my favorite of donna grant but it wasnt bad either.. the characters were interesting. it left some questions that weren't answered and parts of it were slow moving and a bit confusing.. overall though it was a good read and i enjoyed it. i am glad i got to review it

This book is good...it has a lot of slower parts but I enjoyed reading the dynamics between the main two characters.i lived the other paras and not just the vamps. Only issue I had with the book was it was very slow moving at parts :) overall I liked it a lot and look forward to the next one
