A beautifully crafted ghost story full of atmosphere and vivid poignancy. The themes it portrays about war and grief are unsentimentalised yet moving. The backdrop of cold, winter and snow are on one hand symbolic of emotion but on the other are personnified to become almost a second protagonist. I'm a huge fan of classic ghost stories and loved Mosse's multi-layered tale with its historic and emotional twists.

"My favorite movie is Raiders of the Lost Ark. I just think it’s perfect in every way. I find it very moving in parts. I think it’s incredibly exciting; obviously, it’s really funny. You know, it’s been my favorite movie ever since I first saw it when I was nine, I guess it was, and it’s just great. I can’t wait until my wife lets me show it to my son."

A truly great read. The books devels into a very raw topic, that seriously divides people and shows both sides of the arguement, the thoughts of those pro choice and those pro life, while at the same time telling a wonderful and moving story that really engages the reader. A seriously addictive show that I binged both seasons very quickly. Sharply written and at times quite moving with lashings of dark humour , the show keeps you saying “ok just one more episode” by chucking unexpected curveball plot twists at you. The performance from Christina Applegate and Linda Cardelinni are both excellent , they have great chemistry and their unconventional relationship is the heart of the show. Well worth your time.
