Rolling Stone's 271st greatest album of all time (466th in the 2020 list)
This album marked the Beach Boys' coming of age, moving from fun-loving surfing good-time boys, to more intelligent and meaningful musicians. The music is much more varied, more orchestral, and the harmonies take on a whole new level. The songs are much more serious too in general and a move towards what would become their Pet Sounds mindset. A great listen featuring some of their best songs.

I thought Season 6 had the perfect send-off, with Holmes and Watson back where they belong in 221b Baker Street.
This, curtailed (I think they knew beforehand) season has the duo moving back to the States following the shooting of a former colleague, with the through line in this 13(?)-episode run being the threat posed by the tech billionaire Odin Reichenbach.
yes, I said Reichenbach.
It's no coincidence one of the final episodes is called 'Reichenbach Falls'

Excellent series telling the story of what did, didn't, might have, might not have happened when a young, clean living college student meets a self-destructive young girl and wakes up next to her dead body. Some poor split second decisions lead to him being locked up for her murder and the prosecution begins. Seeing how the main character changes after being wrongly (?) imprisoned even before the court case gets moving has been done before but not with this much intensity and emotion. Truly excellent.

While nothing new, it is well executed
The structure of this jam-packed, fast paced novel is well-laid out, moving from the protagonist's voice to a mysterious person continuously. While the enigmatic chapters were less than mysterious, as I figured out who it was near the beginning, it is clear and not too overdone. It is sad as there are many mothers treated this way especially through the systems, not believed and thought of as unfit. Hence it seems realistic with a sense of tension throughout

Great character depth (1 more)
Strong world building
Phenomenal
This book saved my life. Though this wasn't the first book published in the series, it's where the story truly begins. For fans of Drizz't Do'Urden who haven't started with this book, it's the best place to get to know our favorite Dark Elf. This book explores his childhood starting with the day of his birth and moving through everything that made him leave his home and take the first steps on what becomes an amazing journey.
