Mark @ Carstairs Considers (2470 KP) rated The Treacherous Teddy (A Bear Collector's Mystery #5) in Books
Mar 9, 2018
Ashleigh and Brad get involved when one of their neighbors is found dead. Was it a hunting accident or murder? There was very little teddy bear connection in this book, but I still absolutely loved it. The characters and humor are outstanding.

Mark @ Carstairs Considers (2470 KP) rated The Fault Tree in Books
Mar 9, 2018
Blind mechanic Cadence Moran is walking home from work one night when she "witnesses" a murder. Trying to help the police only attracts the killer's attention. I found the story frustratingly slow for a thriller and the ending completely unbelievable.

Erika Kehlet (21 KP) rated House of the Hanging Jade in Books
Feb 21, 2018
House of the Hanging Jade is a suspenseful tale of murder and obsession, all taking place against a beautiful Hawaiian backdrop. Lush descriptions of both the scenery and the food prepared by the protagonist leave you wanting more. Fans of both gothic romance and mystery novels should enjoy this story.

Chicago History comes to life
Well written real life horror and accomplishment
A worthy read, I love when history comes to life, and this book accomplishes it with a flurry. You can feel the struggle to bring such a momentous event to fruition.
MelanieTheresa (997 KP) rated Murder Mystery (2019) in Movies
Jun 18, 2019
I feel like this should have been funnier considering who the leads are. Don't get me wrong, Aniston and Sandler are great together, and there are some truly funny moments, but I wanted to be able to laugh more than I actually did. The actual "murder mystery" was just intriguing enough to keep it going. Overall a bit disappointing, but not terrible.
