Blackmail
The Sentinel- is a good action thriller.
The plot: Secret Service agent Pete Garrison (Michael Douglas) investigates a colleague's murder and subsequently becomes a suspect due to the machinations of a blackmailer who knows the secret he is hiding. Disgraced, dismissed and now a fugitive, Garrison must both clear his name and save the president from assassination.
Like i said its a good thriller.

When Delfina was seven, her father killed her mother. So she grew up with her grandparents. Questions about her mother and the murder haunted Delfina through into adulthood, and her large Polish family could do nothing to answer them. A murder in New York is nothing new, but when it happens among the ultra-orthodox Jews of Borough Park, that's another thing altogether. Rebekah Roberts finds herself investigating the story for the paper, while facing a part of her past she knows nothing about. I enjoyed this book!
I wasn't sure what to expect but from pretty much the first chapter I was pulled into this story. The quirkiness of Ellie, the charm of Jack, the whole murder thing...I was hooked.
The characters grew on me as did the whole storyline.
Not something I would have normally picked up just from the cover, but something I did.
