A great story
A great film based on a true story of the life of a group of friends growing up in the slums of Rio. Drawn into a violent life of crime, drugs and murder from a young age. The way it charts the life of the friends and brothers through the years and how their actions effect them in the future is very well done. A very entertaining film!

A great twist in this true crime documentary
A remarkable and intriguing true crime documentary slightly different to the usual Netflix films. For one, there are moments of optimism, and an incredible twist that exonerates this young father from the murder of a 16 year old witness. He was in the firing line for the death penalty, but something rather crazy happens so it's totally worth the watch.

What a great book and, hopefully, the first of a series of many involving DCI Matilda Darke and the fantastic cast of excellent supporting characters. Well written at a great and unrelenting pace, the story follows the investigation of a cold case and the, possible, link to a recent murder.

A fun page-turner
The protagonist is an alcoholic shut-in who suffers from PTSD. For entertainment, she watches old movies and spies on her neighbors. When she sees the woman next door get murdered, she begins to spiral out of control. Did she really see a murder, or did her medications cause her to hallucinate? Is she losing her mind or is something really wrong in the neighborhood?

Henrie O agrees to go on a cruise to help an old friend convince his wife she is in danger from one of her step kids. But who might it be? The drama in this book was so gripping I had a hard time putting it down.

When Merry decides to get into shape two weeks before her wedding, she runs across another corpse. Can she solve the murder and get all those details finished? The mystery was rather easy to figure out, but it was wonderful to finally get the final book in the series.
