Mark @ Carstairs Considers (2163 KP) rated Resort to Murder (Henrie O, #6) in Books
Mar 9, 2018
Henrie O. is attending a wedding in Bermuda that is plagued by a ghost and murder. The plot got sluggish at times, but for the most part it moved along well. The characters were much more real than the last book in the series, too.

Mark @ Carstairs Considers (2163 KP) rated Motherhood is Murder (A Maternal Instincts Mystery, #2) in Books
Mar 9, 2018
A night out with Kate's new mommy group turns deadly when one of the members is found dead at the bottom of some stairs. Tragic accident or murder? Lots of humor, and I identified with Kate a little too much. The plot is a little uneven, but still an enjoyable book.

Mark @ Carstairs Considers (2163 KP) rated The Last Word (Diagnosis Murder, #8) in Books
Mar 9, 2018
The final Diagnosis: Murder novel finds Dr. Mark Sloan's world crumbling around him when a conspiracy targets his friends. Slow going at the start, but lays crucial groundwork for the fast paced rest of the novel. I loved it and sorry to see the characters fade into the sunset again.

Kaysee Hood (83 KP) rated Murder Has Nine Lives in Books
Sep 21, 2018
Murder Has No Lives
Jaine's mystery did not live up to the back cover, which is disappointing as there was so much potential. What could have been was tossed out for a subplot and the whole ending was rushed as if the author remembered what she was suppose to be writing about.
