Dean (6927 KP) rated The Woman in the House across the Street from the Girl in the Window in TV
Jul 1, 2023
Slightly odd Comedy Thriller
A decent short series, just 8 episodes around 20-25 minutes long each. I thought it was a general Thriller to start with but halfway way through it is more of a parody of other recent Thriller Films and series. Decent story although the ending was rather silly, if you like Murder Mysteries you should enjoy it.

Ross (3284 KP) rated Legion: Skin Deep in Books
Sep 4, 2017
This follow-up book sees David again solving mysteries with his own (internal) Scooby-gang. It felt like something of a re-telling of the first book and wasn't as compelling here. David's character and madness develop quite a bit here and it is set up for more in the future, which I would relish. Just a little disappointed that it wasn't made more of.
Mark @ Carstairs Considers (2516 KP) rated Death Dines in in Books
Mar 9, 2018
A mostly fun collection of food related murder by a wide variety of authors. A few of the mysteries were rushed at the end, but for a most part they worked. However, there was one story that was disturbing and I didn't care for at all.

Mark @ Carstairs Considers (2516 KP) rated Crime de Cocoa (A Chocoholic Mystery #1-3) in Books
Mar 9, 2018
The collection of the first three Chocoholic mysteries plus the short story that was set and released before the series started. If you haven't started the series, this might be the place to start. The stories are light but fun and the characters are great.

Lumos (380 KP) rated Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe in Books
Feb 16, 2018
This was such a sweet book. I couldn't put it down. I loved traveling with Ari and Dante as they discovered all the mysteries (good and bad) that life has to offer. This author did a wonderful job of letting readers fall in love with the characters at their own pace rather than shoving them in their faces with an obvious "you must like these characters".
Lesley (60 KP) rated The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie (Flavia de Luce, #1) in Books

Cute cozy mystery that will make you smile!
This book was absolutely delightful! Not just for fans of cozy mysteries, this seems like it would appeal to all sorts of mystery lovers. I am absolutely in love with Flavia de Luce, a precocious 11-year-old with a penchant for poisons. I laughed so much reading this, and can't wait to read more of her adventures!
