What happens to kids when both of their parents are taken from them? Do they learn to survive with the situations they are given or do they find a new way to live their lives?

Porsche Santiaga was the middle daughter of Ricky and Lana Santiaga. When her parents were both arrested one night, and she her younger twin sisters were snatched up by the Bureau of Child Welfare. After being tossed from foster home to foster home and no word from her family, Porsche found herself in upstate New York in a juvenile detention center. There she met Siri(the gentle girl who was always there to protect her), Riot(the head of the Diamond Needles), and other members of the Diamond Needles to help her through her sentence.
When she is finally out on her own, she tries to find and help her family the best way she could. She is a natural born hustler so finding work for a fair wage was not a problem for her. She was only 12 years old and making over $1000 a week. She wasn't selling her body, or drugs. Just being the best person she could be and helping people in the neighborhood.
Porsche's story is a very sad one, but it has a happy ending.

When I read the description of this book I was immediately intrigued. A novel that takes place entirely from the perspective of a bee? That was certainly different from anything else I'd been reading lately (although there are sections of "Building Stories" that follow a bee). As such I couldn't help but check it out, and it turned out to be one of my favorite novels of the year so far. The story follows sanitation worker Flora 717 on her personal odyssey through the inner (and outer) workings of a colony of bees. Events push her from one faction to another, as she learns all about the inner workings of her hive and the agendas that different groups harbor inside it. As she does, she also learns more and more about herself. While many behaviors demonstrated are very clearly pure fiction, it is hard not to feel like one is actually learning something about the bees one sees around one's neighborhood all the same. It's also a novel about the effects of blind faith, learning to understand the differences of those around you, life under an oppressive regime, and the lengths one will go to for love. This is an absolutely beautiful book that will linger with you after it's done and have a marked change on the way you look at the insects that exist all around us.

A song that everybody knows or should know. If you have seen the 1964 tv show or the 1991 movie or the 1993 sequel movie. The addams family is loved by all. And this movie is really good.

It takes elements from the oringal tv show and the movies and mixs it up.

The Plot: Members of the mysterious and spooky Addams family -- Gomez, Morticia, Pugsley, Wednesday, Uncle Fester and Grandma -- are readily preparing for a visit from their even creepier relatives. But trouble soon arises when shady TV personality Margaux Needler realizes that the Addams' eerie hilltop mansion is standing in the way of her dream to sell all the houses in the neighborhood.

You got to love the charcters, you got to love their personalty, you got to love that their mysterious, spooky, creppy, kooky and ooky.

This is a good film, despite what the critics have said. Kids and their family should see this film.
