Netflix is a great application for watching movies, dramas, documentaries etc. The app allows you to have multiple accounts so that friends and family can use their own account to add movies etc to their list to watch and keep a track of what they are watching, without interfering with what you are watching. The app allows you to use Netflix also on multiple devices such as an iPad, Playstation, Laptop etc, which makes for easy viewing on the go. The ap does however require internet connection for viewing. There is a lot of choice, with Netflix series becoming more popular and well-made. The downfall would be that well-loved titles are often removed, for example such as 'Home Alone' being removed at the most popular time (Christmas Holidays), or the Grinch. These movies are often removed at peak times, so that viewers often have to pay for the movies elsewhere. It makes you wonder why you're paying subscription fees, if titles like these are removed just as you want to watch them! Also I've noticed a recent increase in the subscription fees, which is a shame, especially as more and more similar and competing apps are becoming more popular, such as Amazon prime (which offers the very latest, more choice - especially with series).

A Netflix unoriginal
Horror-by-numbers from Netflix. A young American man looks to make some money by tricking Glaswegians into believing their house is haunted and banishing the spirits. He makes his sister pretend to have the gift of communication with the spirits, and the use of some technology to baffle the mid-80s victims. Just before their last such scam, his sister discovers she may have some real sixth sense after all.
The acting is mediocre (Celia Imrie totally hamming it up from the off), with the rest of the (non-Scottish) cast adequately carrying their roles.
James Cosmo is something of a standout as their grandfather in his one scene, telling of how their mum became more and more odd and reclusive until her death.
The plot is far from original with some half-decent jump scares along the way, though quite spaced apart in the short runtime.

Another netflix sci fi
This series began well, the opening 2 episodes were ok and steadily set the tone for the rest of the series BUT instead the series just gradually went downhill to the point of ridiculousness.

The Story is divided into two sections.A mysterious alien artifact lands on earth and a crew are sent into space to try to trace its origins while on earth scientists/government officials try to make contact with the artifact.

The earth set story is fine but the story set on the spaceship gets worse as the episodes go on.Everyone at some point is either screaming, shouting, trying to kill someone or trying to get off with one another.

A very bog standard Netflix drama all in all.

Very good app
Netflix has a pretty good selection, some classics, some original programming, which is good quality too. It also keeps you up to date with anything that gets added. It's easy to use, find things, add things to your watch list, and pick up where you left off. It's not a cheap service, so I would not expect anything less, but it has tones of great features. Recommending shows and films are not always the best, but some have been good calls. Some of the genre selections are off, it once described Twilight as a horror...well Kirstin Stewart is a horribly bad actress...
The ability to make profiles, and do one for the kids is fantastic! I honestly would be a bit lost without it.
Go Netflix!

Poor editing for the fight scenes
Another rehash of old plots
Spotted this new Netflix film and it looked OK from the trailer. A drone pilot is sent to the front line after disobeying an order. He soon realises he is paired up with a top secret enhanced AI super soldier on a shady mission.
The action scenes are not too bad, apart from the fight editing which was very choppy. Obviously spent a lot of money on the budget. The robotic soldiers took similar to another Netflix film @Code 8 (2019) and the battle scenes are decent. As the film moves on to the final act it's like a pick n mix of many other films including the Terminator amongst others.
Worth a watch for action fans but nothing particularly original or outstanding here. Complete with Marvel in jokes.
