Feels like it's 30 minutes longer than it is (1 more)
Rather dull and uneventful
Very slow burner
Thought I'd give this a go as it's just popped up on Netflix. Directed by and starring George Clooney as a lone scientist trying to contact a spaceship returning to Earth after a global disaster. The event on Earth is very vague with no real explanation. The film switches between the spaceship and earth segments for quite long periods. There just isn't enough story or action for the film. A couple of small action scenes and that's it. Which makes the film feel very long. The sets are nice and the space scenes look good. Overall it's a bit slow and predictable.
Erika (17789 KP) rated Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 1 in TV

I was really ticked when The Clone Wars was taken off Netflix, but I understand that Disney's pulling all of their media from other streaming services. While I was going through my couple hundred movie, I randomly found the first season in my collection. Apparently, the DVD is now worth around $50.
It was always a massive bummer that we never really knew the details of what happened in the Clone Wars exactly from the films. This show fills in the gaps, not only showing Anakin and Obi-Wan's adventures, but several other jedi as well. It also introduced new characters, such as Ahsoka, and Ventress. The first season is solid and entertaining. I'm glad that it was kept in canon when Disney took over.

Feels like you're there in the park
Hell of a ride
Finally got to see this on Netflix today as I missed it at the cinema. It looked good from the trailer. Fairly low budget but it has a good premise of some friends enjoying a Halloween night at a Horror theme park. It wasn't particularly scary but the setting definitely made the film more fun as you feel like you are experiencing the park as well. Definitely more of a a slow stalk and slash film with a couple of gore scenes as well. If you are after a decent Horror film for this Halloween add this to your list and enjoy your ride to Hell Fest!

This is the first full-length Witcher novel, which I read after both the collection of short stories contained with The Last Wish and Sword of Destiny
This is the novel that inspired the video game of the same name, and the upcoming (as of time of writing) Netflix adaptation, with Geralt - as the novel starts - already having taken guardianship of Ciri, and having a history with Yennefer as war begins to brew between the 'elder' races and mankind.
I think I will read some more of these to see where the story goes, although - at the moment - I think I may take a break from this particular genre of novel, having read a few of that genre in relatively close succession.

Andy Samberg and Adam Sandler's chemistry (1 more)
It's such a random storyline it stands out in a competitive film world
Adam Sandler's voice can drive me mad a bit in this. (1 more)
It has some seriously weird plotlines... if you have or will see it you'll know what I mean
Depends on your sense of humour
So this film came up on my suggested films on Netflix and as I love Andy samberg and Adam Sandler, I gave it a go.
Some bits are hysterically funny. Some bits are crude and VERY cringey. It depends on your sense of humour it really does, it's a very rude humoured film. I found it funny, I'd recommend it for those that aren't of a nervous disposition lol.
