Sarah Betts (103 KP) rated Freshman Holiday (Freshman Dorm Super) in Books

This book sucked eggs. Where's the continuity? It came out after Freshman Fury, but there's no mention of KC witnessing Brooks falling to his death, or Winnie's miscarriage.
It also has some insipid kidnapping plot and Lauren sucking up to her parents. Lame.
<2013> Nice ableism there, Sarah.

3.5 stars.
This was a rather cute story. I loved the connection between our guys and how the tension ratcheted up in those first few chapters and then... just the relationship. It was cute, it was hot; I couldn't stop smiling.
A nice story. I wouldn't mind reading more books by this author

I really enjoyed this, it was a sweet, romantic Christmas themed story. It had a nice build-up to their relationship and I was willing them to get together from early on, especially with all the interruptions that kept happening and I just wanted them to ignore everything and get it on already!

Finally, Lou's story after Will. I was scared to read it, scared to experience the pain of life after death, but I'm glad I did. It was nice to get some closure. However, I feel like there should be another book - or at least a novella, I wasn't 100% satisfied with the ending!

A sweet book, and a nice little love story placed in a situation that isn't often found in novels. Drori has a good eye for finding a unique twist to the usual "boy meets girl" plot. You can read my full review here https://tcl-bookreviews.com/2014/11/28/abandonment-and-devotion/

For a short/novella length story this had quite a good, strong plot. I wasn't too keen on the ending though...I'd have preferred it a bit happier, as in them actually together properly in an open relationship where they could see each other regularly but it was still a nice, sweet story.
