I was going to give it 3.5 stars until that bit at the end, which boosted it up half a star--just because I didn't expect it. I can't go into details without ruining it, which would be a shame because I thought it was well thought out and written.

A nice short story with slight BDSM themes.

"Intense soundtracks can feel intrusive and distracting, but these feel like perfect uses of (nice ‘n’ loud!) familiar songs in film. I’m so moved to happiness by the way the characters’ boiling-over thoughts, hopes, and dreams seem to be broadcast out of their internal lives and into this remarkable world created by Wong Kar-wai."

Just like the cage Borat's daughter aspires to live in, the comedy of Sacha Baron Cohen is golden. You'll be able to control your laughter about as well as our government has controlled the corona virus. Borat Subsequent Moviefilm is pure genius and absolutely hilarious. I guess what I'm trying to say is, it's very nice.

Enjoyed this

I have enjoyed this series. Its nice to see female P.I.s who are pretty amazing at their jobs. And falling in love with their guys. I also love the odd bits of humour that get thrown into this authors books. Goo-Poh was hilarious at times.

Can't wait to read more books by Rachel

It was nice to hear from Lauren again. This time around, Chris' POV wasn't so boring and I enjoyed his side much more. I love the twists and turns the story has taken and, though I'm pretty sure I know how this will end, I can't wait to see what all happens. FYI: I missed Cal, so freaking much!

Tabletop Game Rating Watch

I really do love this game and it's very easy to break out and play, but it can sometimes be a little difficult to introduce to new players and can be a tad simple for more hardcore gamers. But it does fit a nice sweet spot between the two groups, which I find myself in many times.
