In the battle between brains and brawn, it's nice to watch brains come out on top in the looks department! Although the social ineptness of highly intelligent people is portrayed, it's refreshing to see the journey each character makes throughout each season. The storylines aren't as far-fetched as some may perceive, with the fantastic Kathy Reichs giving her anthropological insight to the script.

[The Only City Left] by [Andy Goldman] is a nice mix of fantasy and dystopia. The characters were very creative and the setting was fitting. I liked how Allin's goal was to see the 'top of the world' but that changed as he learned more about his past and the city. I definitely would recommend this book.

The setting of a hospital emergency room is believable and leads me to think the author knows the environment. The characters were not shallow but not deeply developed it was almost to predictable. The dynamics of their relationship has the quirk of the attration being there but both fighting that for different reasons. Overall it was an enjoyable book. A nice quick read with some potential cold shower moments

A nice surprise
I didn't expect much from this low budget Norwegian film, but it actually turned out to be very good. Even low budget effects these days can be very good, this film proves it with the Trolls featured in the film. The fact it is filmed in a documentary type of way worked well. Blair Witch meets Cloverfield, go watch and enjoy!

Nice patterns, but nothing I haven't seen before. I like most of them, but again it's your average sock knitting book. I guess there's only so many socks under the sun? I really like fair isle and there were only a few fair isle and color combo socks. There was a lot of lace and I don't do lace. It really depends on what kind of socks you like.

Fantastic read, I couldn't put it down. Fast paced, full of adventure, great world building. Well written, great plot and characters. Maggie Trent is fighting and next thing she knows she is in another realm, the Sirens Realm. She meets a nice man Bertrand Wayland and he tells her of the rules in the realm. I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book from Netgalley.

The actress talks about her life in and out of show business. As a fan, I enjoyed it, although a couple of chapters went further than I needed them to go. Still, she comes across as fairly grounded and nice by the time you've reached the end.

OK but over rated
Reminds of Steven King films from the 80s. Tension, atmosphere and retro feel abounds but is badly let down by pacing of the story. Encompasses that era really well with nice touches but the story of the first series could and should have been a film instead of being stretched out, there's just not enough plot to go around.

The first BR is one of my fav movies.naturally i thought id love this movie its been so long inbettween.i thought it was verry long and boring and couldnt hear main actor sometimes .im sorry i dont like him much .but ending was pretty good writing wise .im gonna watch again just to give it anoth sot
