It's a good movie that shows compassion
I really enjoyed this it had some sad parts and I believe it had a great message in it and that is to be compassionate if you can and to share what you have with those who can't afford it .
The main character Mike is what you would call a gentle giant and this in a way is another possible message about not judging a book by it's cover.
Leigh Anne is such a kick ass women as well it's nice to see so much of this bad ass character who at times made me laugh.
One thing I can say though is that I cheered on both these characters throughout the movie.

Great start to a series
I got sent a reading copy of this book for an honest review and I am so glad I did. Even though it followed roughly the same lines as a lot of other books it had some nice twists to keep you on your toes, there wasn't any unnecessary description which made it fast paced (I read it in a couple of hours) and it was refreshing to see that there is a bit more realism in how a person is likely to react to a life threatening situation.
I think the story could have been longer but overall I thought it was very well executed and can't wait to read the rest in the series.

Quite amusing in places, but there were some errors - Henry VIII's will did in fact reinstate Mary and Elizabeth and after that went for the descendants of younger sister Mary (the Greys) over older sister Margaret (the Scottish line). It was Edward's Device for the Succession which looked to overturn that.
There was some off-beat facts thrown in, but would have been nice to have some explanation too. It mentions a fine if you sold the meat of a Bull without it having been baited but doesn't explain why (this might have driven me mad, but I had just read Ruth Goodman's How to be a Tudor, which explains about how they believed this would tenderise the meat! I highly recommend the book!).

So, I started this book around Christmas and am just now finishing it. I think that was a result not so much of the book itself - it wasn't poorly written or anything, I just kept picking up other books instead. Overall, it was a nice, fluffy, cozy mystery that I probably would have enjoyed more if I had read the whole thing at Christmastime. Yes, there were a lot of religious undertones, but I sort of expected that with a Christmas book. I would recommend this one to anyone looking for a book to get into the Chistmas mood.
*Although I did receive this book for free through Goodreads First Reads, all of my thoughts and opinions are my own.

Each chapter is from one of the 3 main characters POV. (1 more)
Has a nice flow to each chapter.
Fantastic Book
What an amazing book. Each chapter is written from one of the 3 main characters point of view so it really allows you to see into the mind set of each of them and how they perceive the events happening around them.
The chapters are quite consice making it all too easy to say "just one more" right the way through to the end.
It was nothing like I expected but so much more. Its quite dark and has a sinister feel throughout the book even ending with an "oh my god, what the f*ck" feeling.
I would highly recommend giving this book a read.

A fantastic re-imagining
A return to a zombie infested Racoon city, following characters Leon Kennedy, a rookie cop who's first day on the force turns into a literal Nightmare & Claire Redfield who's seeking her older brother Chris (more on him later).
After a Virus is unleashed, Racoon city becomes a dark, monster filled, blood soaked Nightmarish place, where Leon & Claire must survive in order to uncover an evil conspiracy & save the City from an undead Extinction.
Great in game mechanics and nice character redesigns recreated in a dark toned game has pumped new life into a struggling franchise with more to come.
New voice work has been well received and it's not hard to see why.
