It's the end.

I feel kinda sad that this is the last time that I will ever read about Claire, Shane, Eve, Michael, Amelie, Oliver, Myrnin and the rest of Morganville. Over the last fifteen books the little town and it's residents have grown on me.

I've always loved Myrnin and I think I love him a little more after this. He's definitely memorable with his crazy fashion sense and his lab. The other thing that I loved in this book was the Glass House, it's always had a personality but the way it went about helping the gang in this one *grins*

I'm glad that everything worked out in the end, both for the humans and the vampires. A nice ending to the series.

it is a lovely journal. It has 99 different lists to fill, the topics are taken from everyday life and the variety is very wide. From “Things you think are cute” to “Clothing that feels the most “you” ” The year has been a little grim, so a reminder of what makes me happy is quite handy. The journal is nice and colourful and filled with very fun and adorable illustrations. 🙂

So, to conclude, “99 things I want to do” is still on my wish list, but this journal is a fun reminder of the best things in life. I recommend to anyone who struggles to find joy in life, it might serve as a reminder that everything is not as bad as we think.

I was going to start this by saying this was the earliest set of the Biggles stories, back in The First World War.

Then I did a bit of research, and discovered that it depends upon how (and what) you are counting as a Biggles story/book - see http://www.biggles.info/

Perhaps, then, it would be better to say that this is the earliest set of any I have read.

Published in 1935, this is (apparently) a collection of 12 separate short stories, all of which are loosely linked together and follows some of Biggles earlier exploits.

I realise I'm not the target audience for these (I'm now too old). I don't care: sometimes it's nice just to re-live your childhood!

Spaceship set (0 more)
Feels like it's 30 minutes longer than it is (1 more)
Rather dull and uneventful
Very slow burner
Thought I'd give this a go as it's just popped up on Netflix. Directed by and starring George Clooney as a lone scientist trying to contact a spaceship returning to Earth after a global disaster. The event on Earth is very vague with no real explanation. The film switches between the spaceship and earth segments for quite long periods. There just isn't enough story or action for the film. A couple of small action scenes and that's it. Which makes the film feel very long. The sets are nice and the space scenes look good. Overall it's a bit slow and predictable.

The Deadwood movie was so good. It was like going back home and seeing old friends again that I haven't seen in forever and picking things up like it was just yesterday when we last saw each other. You break out your best peaches and catch up over drinks, but like all good things it must come to an end, so you sadly say your goodbyes. Deadwood, it was nice seeing you again. You looked good, much to the thanks of Janie Bryant and many others. Now that you're catching up with the times I'll be waiting by one of those magical boxes with voices in 'em, telephones I think they're called. Hope to see ya again a little farther down the line.

A couple of songs only for me (0 more)
Feels like trying too many different themes on 1 album not always a bad thing but didnt work for me. (0 more)
After winning this from Smashbomb and requested I review it so here goes.

I would not have purchased this album even though I do like some of Madonnas other works but they are mostly the 80s hits and some from the Frozen album.
I found 2 or 3 tracks ok to listen to with nice use of beats and piano in the songs. But over all I felt she was trying to cater to too many genres which sometimes works but for me on this occasion it didnt. A generous 5 out of 10 from me.

Interesting take on a worn out story.

Vince Vaughn plays a "planner" for underground crime. He provides plans, schematics, and other assorted information to other criminals so that they can perform crimes while focusing on the legwork portion of the crime. Naturally, everything goes wrong and he becomes a hunted man, as you would expect.

That's when things actually get a little different. Nick's (Vaughn) sole focus becomes making sure his quasi estranged daughter (Haylee Steinfeld) is provided for after his impending death. While accepting his own fate, he will stop at nothing to stay alive long enough for his new life insurance policy to become active, in one week.

Nice little afternoon action flick to burn a couple hours.
