Not one of the Rock's best
This is one of those wildly cheesy, silly and overblown action films that sadly goes way too over the top. The technology is just too much, the script is pretty average and the whole plot is just very predictable and silly. At least as with all of Dwayne Johnson's films, it is vaguely entertaining but not particularly memorable. The bad guys are cliched and altogether unforgettable and the whole film is just very "meh". The only really good thing I can say is that it was nice to see Neve Campbell in something recent that isn't a Scream film (as that's all I've seen her in). Other than that this is an alright film for background noise and that's it. Even Rampage was better than this.

What Noise Does a Chainsaw Make? Remake
This remake is actually good, its different but its good. Its the first time in the franchise to actully go into a slaughterhouse. Which amazes me.

The Plot: In this remake of the horror classic, a group of young travelers -- including Erin (Jessica Biel), Andy (Mike Vogel) and Morgan (Jonathan Tucker) -- comes across an isolated rural home while driving through Texas. Unfortunately for them, the decrepit house is the residence of a family of deranged backwoods killers, most notably a hulking masked brute known as Leatherface (Andrew Bryniarski), who begins to hunt the stranded youths down. Will any of the friends survive the nightmarish ordeal?

Yes this is the first Platinum Dune's horror remakes. Thnkz Michael Bay.

Anyways I do reccordmend watching this film.

"As a band, we had Ecstasy And Wine and we liked that and we had Isn’t Anything? and we liked that, but then the Valentines came out with these two EPs. “We had [You Made Me Realise] hook, line and sinker and we stole everything we could off it. The title song has the noise section and we just took that and stuck it in Drive Blind, although we owned up to it and it became something slightly different when we did it. “The second track on that EP was called Slow and us trying to rip that off kind of became the song Close My Eyes - same speed and the same key and the same kind of beat. The Valentines changed my life because they were the primary influence on Ride."
