The second novel in the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina takes place after the events of Part 1 of the television series. It's nice to have more details as to what happened concerning Nick and Harvey.

I'm a huge fan of the pairing of Harvey and Sabrina, so the whole Nick thing ultimately annoys me. I'll eventually watch Part 2 of the television show when I'm in the mood for it. Currently, not so much.

3.5* If you’ve ever wanted to understand what the term “unreliable narrator” means, the story of Maya Abramovna Klotsvog, who lives in the USSR after WWII, by Margarita Khemlin is an excellent example. Told like a memoir, this novel translated by Lisa C. Hayden, seems simple but is very different. Tyler knows how to write not just about ordinary people, but ones who are flawed, so that we see their flaws through them far more vividly than the people around them. This short novel focuses on loss and mourning and if there are things we find hard to believe that can become believable in certain circumstances. Wishing all my friends in the US a Happy Thanksgiving! In Ellen Cooney's novel "Thanksgiving," she follows the Morley women over 350 years, using their ancestral home and the food they prepared for their Thanksgiving table as the focal points. This is a totally unique idea that has been very well executed. You can read my full review here https://tcl-bookreviews.com/2013/12/13/one-family-one-holiday-many-generations-of-women/
