An Ivy Hill Christmas - Was enchanting and totally helped me get in the mood of Christmas. While I have not read any of Julie Klassen books before I knew I wanted to start reading her books as she is known for her fantastic characters, settings, and regency era fiction, which are some of my favorite bookish things when combined.

This book was like being transported back in time and immersed in a magical Christmas wonderland. Richard and Arabella had great chemistry right from the beginning and I loved their banter with each other. They had meaningful interactions and portrayed some realistic truths. The story was filled with some interesting twists, old secrets, lost love, and an interesting plot that kept me heavily engaged with the characters. An Ivy Hill Christmas Made me cozy inside, I highly recommend this sweet Christmas story and I am excited to have found a new author to read

The first 65% or so of this book is going over what has happened in the previous books, but you see it from Ichi and/or Bobby's point of view. This gives you a more rounded view of what has happened, so it helps to put everything into perspective.

As is said in the book, Ichi is an old soul so it doesn't seem that much of an age gap between Bobby and Ichi. This also means that there is little or none of the miscommunication that appears prevalent in some cases. These two actually talk things out, which is really refreshing to read.

Claudia does her business in keeping her boys in line and all is good with the world. I would definitely say that this book adds a certain zing to the Cole McGinnis series. Definitely recommended.

* I received this book from the author in return for a fair and honest review. *

This one carries on from where the last one finished. Dex is now a human-therian hybrid and is trying to figure out how to tell his family and team mates about whats been going on with him lately.

It's a short one compared to most of the other books in this series but we still have quite a good storyline arc in it involving Wolf - one of Sparks' old colleagues - and how he's playing with them a little, which I'm sure will lead us right into the next one which is Seb and the doc's story that has been in the works for a handful of books.

I do love this group of friends. They are close and tease each other all the time but we've really gotten to know them over the last seven books and I think I'd have a serious meltdown if anything happened to any of them.

I accidentally bought book 9 a year or so ago, not realising I hadn't already got this one but now I've read it I can easily continue the story whenever I want - which will be soon, but not just yet.

If you like mm romances where the guys can kick butt then you will really like this series.
