So has this mortal Kombat relaunched the franchise?
My opinion yes, it's not a bad move and will appeal to a new generation, were as slot of the old school gamers will more than like enjoy it but will find Plenty of plot holes in it (like myself).
So other than this not actually been Mortal Kombat due to this not been the much about the tournament and more about the training and back stories, it still a decent film.
The back story and build of the characters is ok, even though muddled up to the original the film it well to make it appeal to a new bread, was I much for the new character (Cole) not really as he was just there to bring scorpion back, but let's wait and see where it goes.
I couldn't help be think all the way through that this was a setup for another film ( franchise relaunch) and the ending confirmed this.
All in all I enjoyed this film and think it did well.
From a Mortal Kombat fan from the beginning good jobšŸ„ŠšŸ‘

Mia Mi is an up-and-coming 18-year-old singer-songwriter based in North London. Not too long ago, she released an encouraging pop tune, entitled, ā€œTeenage Tearsā€.

ā€œTeenage tears you cry all these years. Well, they got you here, so just trust that you’ll be okay. Now she got a little confidence. Things that didn’t, starting to make sense. She can make a change just go see what’s next.ā€ – lyrics

ā€˜Teenage Tears’ contains a relatable storyline, ear-welcoming vocals, and lush instrumentation scented with danceable pop aroma.

ā€œAnd now you know it’s so good to be different. Break out the bucks you ain’t got no limits. Just give it time, you will learn it in a minute.ā€ – lyrics

Mia Mi’s music is a mixture between Ariana Grande and Mabel. At the age of 10, she won a local singing competition.

Shortly afterward, she enrolled at London’s Centre for Young Musicians and then graduated from the critically acclaimed Brit School.

After fulfilling her educational duties, she released cover videos of popular songs via her YouTube channel.

Since then, her debut single, ā€œTalk To Meā€, has been added to 30 playlists on Spotify and has amassed over 120K streams.

Not a bad film
I enjoy a gay romantic film from time to time. Although this one wasn't all new experience and happy endings it's quite a sad one but I still enjoyed it.

Good film about a young man (Jonas) that becomes good friends with a new guy at school (Nathan) they share a few kisses and a small romance starts. The film jumps from the main character as a 15 year old boy to an adult showing both parts of his life and how he wasn't on the best path and it explains why as the film goes on. These two young boys head off for a date night at the cinema Jonas is the innocent one and wants to go home after but Nathan the adventurous one wants to try and sneak into a gay bar unable to get in they take an offer from a man to take them to another bar, one thing leads to another and Jonas is left deserted and Nathan gone. Good film for a late night watch and if you don't mind reading subtitles.

Charlotte is a doting mom who adores her five-year-old daughter, Daisy. She's also extremely overprotective and anxious, watching and worrying over Daisy's every move. Charlotte and her brother, Rocco, had a tough childhood. Rocco reacts by dating a variety of troubled women. But it seems like he's finally found someone special in his latest girlfriend, Ruth. Ruth really seems to love Rocco--and Daisy. But Charlotte rankles at how much Ruth likes Daisy and vice versa. Then Daisy is kidnapped from school, and Charlotte is convinced that Ruth took her. Is she right, or is it just Charlotte's fears rearing up again?

This was a twisty read that kept me guessing the entire time. It makes you work a bit to keep up, going back and forth between different perspectives and time periods, but it is interesting, dark, and compelling, with several good surprises thrown in. I was constantly switching my allegiances between Charlotte and Ruth, wondering which one (if either) I should trust. The ending felt a little abrupt and quick, but I would certainly read Bell's other work. 3.5 stars.
