Graham and Morgyn are wandering souls who meet at a weekend long concert in the hills. They quickly realize they also have a circle of friends who know each other pulling their worlds a little closer.

Trails of Love is a fall quick story with no real angst in the storyline. Both come from big families and have their own agendas in life to forward their successes. They fit together pretty well and have little rearranging of life and/or goals to make a relationship work.

Story reads well and pretty seamlessly, but one issue and had me grating my teeth was Morgyn's nickname of "Cracker" for Graham. It just didn't work for me at all and I groaned everytime I read it. That being said, the rest of the story was well written, not a knock me off my seat story but sweet and romantic. I received an advance copy without expectation for review, any and all opinions expressed are my own. This continuation of the Bradens and Mongomerys series is well worth the read.

Alice in Wonderland has always held a certain appeal for me. The wild colors and names. Abstract ideas. I even played the role of the Cheshire Cat in our high school production. How thrilled I was when I opened Wonderland and found myself absorbed in the world of White Rabbits with pocket watches, Dodo birds, Mad Hatters and THE Queen of Hearts. There are nine "chapters" and at the beginning of each one is a short summary of the story as I venture through Wonderland. The illustrations are beautiful and they allow my imagination to soar. There are puzzles along the way as well. (And the answers are in the back of the book.) Thick pages with printing on both sides. Easy to draw on with colored pencils. Let your creativity run free in this marvelous story and express your own personality in Wonderland!

I received a free copy of Wonderland from the publisher through Blogging for Books in exchange for my honest review. All opinions expressed are mine alone.

Daring swordfights, a hidden secret, bandits, treasure, true love...Oh yes, Jody Hedlund has delivered another winner of a medieval young adult story.

Lady Sabine has a harrowing journey of self-acceptance ahead of her. Sir Bennet has always strived to remain honorable...Will he be able to follow his heart and love?

I adore that one of my favorite authors has branched out and started a Young Adult series! My only complaint is that the story was too short. I would have loved to have a little more time with Sabine and Bennet...I love the world that Jody has created and the heroes, the knights, are so very swoony! I am excited to read the next book in the series, A Loyal Heart.

I received a complimentary copy of For Love and Honor from the publisher. I also borrowed the audio version from my library and purchased my own print copy. I was not required to write a positive review. All opinions expressed are mine alone.

This is my first time reading a book by Jennifer Pierce and I really enjoyed the way she wove her suspenseful story! I was hooked from the very first chapter by the plight of the main character, I mean imagine being on the run at eight months pregnant! The characters were well done, easy to get to know, and both had good character depth for the length of the story. I thought it was a very well written book with interesting twists and turns that kept my interest easily.

It is the second book in a series, but I read it without reading the first book and wasn’t lost at all, but I am going to go back and read the first book since I liked this one so much.

I give this book 5 out of 5 stars for the great mystery/suspense, for the character's interactions, and for leaving me anticipating the next book!

I was delighted by Miss Tavistock’s Mistake written by Linore Rose Burkard, which is the first book in The Brides of Mayfair series! Readers who like Victorian/Regency historical fiction will enjoy the flow and thoughtful attention to period detail.

Miss Tavistock was a great mix of personalities, pretty much one to match each of her “names” right until they all become one in a great character arch. She was witty, engaging, and made me smile. The Captain… Ooo… Where to start with him? He was a handsome dashing guy with a misunderstood personality right from the beginning. He grew throughout the story and finished as any Captain should. Rescuing his Damsel in distress. Truly a good cast of characters that I look forward to seeing in future books.

I give this book 4 out of 5 stars for the engaging cast of characters, the interesting twists in the story, and the morals/themes in this book.

Y'all this story was epic!

It combined historical fiction, a mystery, suspense + a dash of oh so sweet romance!! I think this is one of my favorite books to read this year :) I think I read the whole book in one sitting.
I loved Lisa. Her character is well developed, she is strong and shows grace, and courage when faced with interesting circumstances. Plus, I loved the vivid descriptions that Regina Rudd Merrick used to describe Lisa and Nick and their plans for the renovation; It was like I was in the house and could envision it right along with them!

The setting in the old house, combined with the mystery left me so excited to (hopefully) read Del's story next! I highly recommend this story for the great characters, interesting twists I did not see coming and for making the smiles along the way. 5 out of 5 stars.

Great book about using the situations God puts you in for good :)
The fisrt story in this book is about a bride who steps off the trail and finds her soon to be husband in jail. Definitely a mishap. I loved how the lead character wasn't afraid to help and go out of her comfort zone.
The second book is one of my favorite books in the series. Its about a young couple set upon by a matchmaker. A wonderful about healing families.
The third book is about a bride who was tricked and had to make her way again, a great story.
Finally the forth book, what a lovely way to end a series!!! A fiery Irish red head who needs to escape her situation and uses the opportunity God gave her to escape. When she gets there she meets a Swedish man .... so cool.
I would highly recommend reading this book :)

I so enjoyed how this book brought forth forgiving the past and learning from it.
Kyle Hunter is a new to me author. This book is part of a series and since I have not read the previous book and I was not confused I think it can be read as a standalone.
I loved Kyle Hunter's vivid descriptions of Mark and Laurens's travels through France (and I will admit I am a little jealous of them!). I also enjoyed the character interactions and the challenges they faced. But I will be honest with you, Lauren is not a very likable character through much of the book and I had a difficult time seeing past her wishy-washy self-centeredness. But I did enjoy the overall story. I thought Lauren’s quest to find herself was interesting and I liked the faith-based aspects of the story. So, I give it 4 out of 5 stars.

I Spy a Tiger by Clyde San Juan was wonderfully lyrical and filled with eye-catching detail. All the pages were covered with whimsical artwork that kids can identify and remember. I liked how the words were larger and easy to read on the pages, and that they had a lyrical sing-song quality that I really enjoyed and remembered even after I was done reading it. Plus, I loved the interactive aspect of the book and the questions back and forth on the pages (i.e., I sailed to an Island, and coming ashore…I saw the most colorful Parrot with his treasures galore!). So, as I said it is a fun book that would be a great addition to any library.

I give this book 5 out of 5 stars! I highly recommend this book really enjoyed getting to read it.

*I did receive a copy in return for my honest feedback, however, I already purchased a copy for my niece! As always, the thoughts and opinions expressed within this review are my own.

Can you say The Cowboys Holiday Bride three times fast? Well, I tried and failed. But I so enjoyed this rendition of A Christmas Carol themed story! Cathy McDavid has always been a favorite author from the Harlequin publishers as she has consistently good and relaxing stories.

This book was sweet, a little sassy, and made me smile. I so enjoyed getting to read and learn about Cash and Phoebe. I thought that their story was well laid out, had good character arcs, and I loved (have I said I loved the interesting take on A Christmas Carol?) Cathy McDavid’s unique and fun take on this classic story. It was just what I needed in the midst of this season. I recommend it to anyone wanting a feelgood story that will make you warm and fuzzy inside.

I give this book 4 out of 5 stars for the well-done plot, the fun characters, and for making me smile & relax.
