Book Divas (227 KP) rated Water Under the Bridge (The Water Trilogy #1) in Books
Dec 12, 2017
This author's unique and creative writing style took me a few chapters to get use to it and in to it as it is narrated in first person but once I fell in there, I was completely held captive by the story line and the characters. This is not your typical, everyday romance, and this was honestly an intriguing and thrilling read.

Book Divas (227 KP) rated Goth Girl Virgin Queen in Books

This well written story line pulls you in right from the very beginning and immediately puts you right into all of the action, the unexpected treachery and the paranormal elements. The author's world building and characters are right on. I gave this four stars because there were some times were the story seems to lose its pace and dragged on a bit.

This teen/young adult read is well written with ever developing characters and I enjoyed reading it. You'll find secret socieities, rituals, magic and a developing romance between my two favorite characters, Julia and Graham. I found it hard to put the book down. There are definitely some lose ends so I look forward to reading the next book.

I had no clue what this story was about.. I was asked to review it.. and I'm really glad that I did because this was very interesting and I enjoyed it a lot. This was a complex and confusing at times.. but then if i waited for like 10 mins and continue reading.. and it all clicked together haha.. There are troubled souls... differences of opinions when it came to religions.. and so many emotions all run together. I really am glad i got to review this one..
Joni Thomas (33 KP) rated Swish and Flick: A Harry Potter Podcast in Podcasts

I found this podcast a few weeks ago and started listening right away. They are reviewing Prisoner of Azkaban right now and I really enjoy hearing their insight into parts of the novel that I didn't really think about before. It's fun to listen to them discuss a story that I honestly expected to know cover to cover. They pick up on things that may have been missed, things that make sense with the context of the later books to reflect on. I like getting all the different opinions offered about characters, scenes, etc.

*This is really closer to 4.5 stars for me, seriously Goodreads we need the half stars!*
I loved the atmospheric prose here, it truly felt like reading an old school fairy tale. Not the happily ever after Disney variety, more along the lines of the dark Grimm tales. Totally unique story, with solid world building and great characters. This is one I see myself reading again and again and finding something new each time.
**Thanks to Edelweiss and the publisher for the DRC! All opinions are my own.**

I mean... It's QUEEN! and they made an amazing job of the Film ... thumbs up from me
And....Rami Malek stepped into the role of Freddie AMAZINGLY! It would've taken one hell of an actor to fill such a personality and he did it FLAWLESSLY and i have always said doing a biopic would be difficult, as you have to get it right..... and BOY DID THEY!
I aim to remind everyone that these are MY opinions, which i am entitled to, you do no have to agree...
