Its interlocked world introduces some fun exploration, even if it can be a pain to backtrack through brutal gauntlets time. But if you’ve found the platform genre a little too lenient in recent years, this will give the fix you’ve been looking for.

This was amazing as always. Liv writes beautifully and the characters really hit you. They are so down the earth and amazing. I love the way she writes scenes and I feel as if I am a part of those scenes and those people's lives. This was hott.. and sexy.. with some pain and heartache.. it was all awesome. Another amazing first read win! The note that came with the book said for ages 14-18 but it was such a real and moving story that I would recommend it to anyone. I felt Kai's pain, chuckled at some parts, and cried a couple times as well. Loss impacts everyone's lives at some point or another and this book shows how life can go on after loss.

"A work I believe Bergman made for television, so it is perhaps not so well known. It goes very far into the riddle of marriage, the breakdown, pain, and passion. I’ve seen it three times already, and I want to watch it again with friends (most of us with one divorce under our belts!). The performances are stunning and the story surprises, touches, and absorbs me each time I see it."

"Parker is, quite simply, our best working poet, and she just blinds me with her skill. She somehow makes a book about deep psychic pain (also a meditation on a broken society, no biggie) into something that feels celebratory and joyous. I’m nominating her for the best pop references in poetry award! She is also the funniest on twitter and echoes my judge-y, agoraphobic general mind state, only with pizazz."

I loved the first book in the series but I have to admit I struggled with this. Maybe it's because it's been almost a year since I read Charade and I don't remember Adrian or maybe it's just the plot line of this. I don't know, but I didn't like it as much.

It seemed a little repetitive at times too with Adrian's pain and Delaney's guilt brought up often.

EPIC
Coffey (Michael Clark Duncan RIP) is arrested with the charges of killing two young girls and is sentenced to death and comes to live on death row with a couple of guards and a few wild inmates. He is also blessed with an amazing gift that allows him to take the pain away from people only to inflict a horrible pain on himself. Edgecomb (Hanks) who is the lead guard takes a liking to him and learns of this gift first hand and has him help others in massive need of help even though it was gonna hurt him even more. Many of things happen from a cruel guard who finally learns his place to a fun loving mouse who finds a home with a unusual tenant. This power that Coffey has is shown through out the movie and the different ways it works is astonishing.

The cast in this movie were absolutely amazing couldn't see or would want to see another group try

The Keeper of Lost Things intrigued me from the very start. I absolutely love interweaving storylines and the sense of mystery the author instills in everyday objects. The characters, even the most minor ones, are very well-written and flawed in really believable ways. I was impressed by the different struggles that characters had, as well as how relatable the author made their pain. The reader can really feel the despair of grief, pain of watching family members age, and awkwardness of a date gone horribly wrong. What disappointed me, however, was that this poignant realism was often followed by fairly generic ghost-story spirit antics. In my opinion, the author could have stopped with Sunshine's unique empathetic abilities and left out the angry ghosts to keep from going a step too far. Still, I was engrossed in this book and do recommend it, particularly to those who enjoy a bit of the supernatural.

This was a short, sweet read. I am not a huge "holiday themed" book girl but it was so very sweet. Noel and Tazmin made me smile and laugh. They felt like siblings I never had. They were so adorable.. The pain Tazmin went through made me sad.. This was a sexy read and fairly short so if you are looking for a cute christmas themed sweet story I would highly recommend this one.
