This fantastic read was difficult to put down and though I certainly enjoyed the storyline, I fell in love with the vivid worldbuilding that this author weaved and that beautiful characters that quickly pull you into the story. This paranormal read will hook you from the beginning and keep you dangled in its web until the end. -YA/NA Book Divas

This is a very hot read from this author. This author has a fab ability to bring you a story which will knock your socks off as you read. Fantastic well written characters. This book has a fantasy/paranormal aspect to the story. This author has a fab way of bringing you very descriptive scenes to suck you into the story. I can't wait to read more from this author in the future.
Highly recommended

I was expecting some blood, gore, violence, and monsters (as you would expect from a novel written by a master of horror) and it was all there, but this isn't strictly a horror novel. It was more of an intriguing paranormal thriller, combined with romance and plenty of drama. The suspense kept me hooked and the believable characters left me thinking about them long after I finished reading the story. I haven't read many Koontz novels, but will definitely be reading more after this one.

Jump scares! So many of them! I love being scared so this film was great. I didn't think it made sense as a follow on from the first movie though. Thriller to paranormal horror is a massive jump but it kind of worked. I was more interested in the scares anyway so I didnt think about the links. They also added to Brahms' back story to make him more interesting I guess and it worked to an extent. Could have done better but I enjoyed it anyway!

I'm still in a bit of a rut in relation to paranormal books but I was determined to finish this, especially considering I'd been reading it for over two weeks--which is ridiculous when I think the third book in the series took me 2/3 days.

I enjoyed it the more I read and reading more of Rachel, Ivy and Jenks was nice. They get themselves into some right situations at times.

I'm not going to read any more of the series yet.

4.5 stars.

I still love this series.

Witty, paranormal, adventure/mysteries with Marnie and the team. If you haven't read this series yet and like the sound of it, I definitely recommend you buy it.

Long but oh, so good.

P.S. I'm still holding out for a Mark Batten/Marnie Baranuik full on romance--maybe possibly with Harry not minding sharing her or not in the frame at all, though I can't see that happening. Maybe in book three which I am dying to buy!
