Book Divas (227 KP) rated Goth Girl Virgin Queen in Books
Dec 12, 2017
This well written story line pulls you in right from the very beginning and immediately puts you right into all of the action, the unexpected treachery and the paranormal elements. The author's world building and characters are right on. I gave this four stars because there were some times were the story seems to lose its pace and dragged on a bit.

Not for everyone
I personally have always struggled this the series not just theone book from a young age. It may personally be because, as I grew up, I found I was more into true Horror/paranormal/distopian genres but I found this book very easy to put down and forget about and could never seem to get more than half way through the book and boredom caused me to put it down. I appreciate it's seen as literary genius but it is certainly not everyone's cup of tea.
Now I have that Rolling Stones song stuck in my head...
I loved this story. It really wasn't scary at all, but it had a good paranormal fantasy aspect to it, with a little murder mystery and promises of revenge. It kept me interested until the end, which was ALMOST satisfying. The book made me laugh, made me angry, and made me sad sometimes. I only realized after I finished that the author is actually Stephen King's son. I love Stephen King's stories. His son has a gift of his own though.

Read this as part of the PPA volume one anthology
I loved it. A well written and thought out story. I don't like to give out spoilers and so I won't, but I will say that it was a fantastic read. Woman has unusual complications after a divorce. Needs a date that's not human, who does she call? Paranormal protection agency of course. Very hot tale. Alpha male and petite sensual woman.
Definitely suggest this to anyone who loves steamy romance.
Go... Buy... Read. You won't regret it.

A couple of these I have read for the authors before but a lot of these were new reads for me. I loved all these authors. They are amazing writers, the stories were so much fun to read. I loved the problems that they had.. the love that was found.. and of course all the paranormal beings in the stories. Totally amazing box set and I am so glad I got this from the authors for a read/review. I will recommend this set to all my friends

Oh yeah! Serial killers and the paranormal OH MY!!
No spoilers. Book is one of his best. A 2 day read. Had to put it down only because I was completely unaware of my family's needs. Someone has to cook. Anyways... What I loved the most is finding small pieces of myself in each character. Whether good, bad, or ugly. We all can relate. The story itself is a page turner. Descriptive, twisty, haunting, and thought provoking. We are all The Outsider in our own way. READ IT.

African supernatural love thriller
This is the first film I have seen from Senegal. It follows a girl who is in love but forced to marry into money, but love diesnt let go not even in death.
It is a slow burning artistic film and the paranormal aspect is almost a side project rather than the focus of the films which makes it even more interesting. This is a strange wonderful film and deserved of its cannes award
