A raw, relatable journey...
I read the book in a single sitting, this book contains poetry and prose of the highest calibre.
Lauren Cresswell writes a raw, emotional journey, one that no matter what your experiences of love, lust or loss, you will definitely relate to.
Expect to feel a strong range of emotions, ones that will bring up many memories of the best of times, and maybe the worst of times, the times that make us who we are.
At points this book literally brought me to tears. The book gives us a no-holes-barred, at some point almost psychedelic view into the author's experiences, experiences we all know too well, with a form that perfectly highlights the highs and lows of love.
Overall, a must read for anybody.

Sammeh Lowry (15 KP) rated The Versions of Us in Books

I adored this book, I have always loved the concept of "what if's" I love thinking about the several different ways one persons life could take, if they had just made a slightly different choice. So this book was my kind of thing straight from the get go. It explores some of the outcomes of Eva and Jim, none are the same apart from one thing, I won't spoil it for you but I am sure you can guess. This book is beautifully written, so on point and it brings each chapter to you with such passion. If I hadn't of been so completely fixated on this story I feel that it would have been hard to follow but I didn't have a problem with this as I was a little bit obsessed and still am. Absolutely beautiful book.

Ice Hockey & Romance
Kindle recommended Whiskey’s work after I had devoured my way through Helena Hunting’s books on the same theme... Ice Hockey and Romance, and I was not disappointed.
Bailey and Gage have been friends since they were children, and after a previous accident, Bailey stepped in to support Gage by becoming a live-in nanny for his adorable daughter Scarlett.
Great in theory, but the undeniable attraction between Bailey and Gage could not go ignored. But will it be enough for a happy ending?
I really enjoyed reading the first in the Seattle Sharks series, getting to know the sharks and learning the heart warming story of the blossoming passion and love between Bailey and Gage.
The story was wonderfully well written, and the energy and emotions were palpable. I look forward to reading the others in the series.
