Merida and her people are dying.
Independent reviewer for Archaeolibrarian, I was gifted my copy of this book.

This is book 3 in the Dyson Bridge series, and I do recommend you read the other two books: Abandon Station, book 1 and Among Us, book 2, before you read this one. It will give you the full story of how Merida and her people came to be on this New Earth. Not all is full recapped here and you really do need to know what happened before.

Finally, the politicians and the military of this world are beginning to see that the Bridgeway's deteriorating orbit might be disastrous for the New Earth. They just can't decide on how to fix it. Merida knows, along with her people but they won't let the technology on the Bridgeway fall into wrong hands and are fighting amongst themselves, while Merida and her people are dying.

So, people, again cliffhanger of sorts but at least Merida and her people are one step closer to going home. They are safer now, on the station than they were on Earth.

I found this one HEAVY on the technical details required to send the escape pods and on what happened on the station when they got there. Far too technical for me to fully understand, although I got some of it. The technology of Merida and the Bridgeway is far superior to ours, and to the New Earth and I fall in the New Earth category in my understanding!

Again, though, only Merida has a voice.

That said, I did enjoy the build up to getting back on the station and now look forward to Merida and those of her crew that are left, along with some tag alongs, getting home, if they can!

I am still invested in these people and I only want them to all be happy, and home. Also, I didn't have to wait 18 months for this book, like I did book 2, so maybe Harrison can get them home quicker, huh??

4 very good stars

not a classic like the original
Really good film (even though people know the ending) Kenneth Branagh isn't bad as Poirot he's not as good as Albert Finney or Peter Ustinov

I got books 1-3 for free, but loved the series so much and just had to purchase book #4. Talk about secrets... Harper is so vibrant and sassy! She doesn't let people push her around. I am already purchasing book5!

It was amazing. Most people would think it was corny and to much at some points but it is wonderful. I have re read this book about 4 times and would definitely recommend to anyone with an opened mind about books!

This season sets the scene for the entire series. You really get to know each character's personalities and how they relate to others on the show. Lots of people die.

I absolutely loved this book! Had me on edge the whole time trying to guess what was going on. And the ending actually gave me an ache in my chest for the characters. I really hope more people read it.

Beautiful imagery and illustrations. Almost made me wish I hadn't seen the movie growing up. Almost. Bradbury has a real respect for the holiday and it shows. Halloween has never been about celebrating evil and more people need to realize that.
