Bee (0 KP) rated The Passage in Books
Jan 29, 2018
Woo, okay! So I started reading this in August and it was a mountain. The pages of the book felt like those pages you get in bibles, very paper thin with a sort of glossy feel to it. I personally loved this, though it did make the book seem a lot larger than it actually is.
The story is absolutely crazy, from start to finish. The characters immense. I was and am so scared for the characters. Nobody is safe in this book. There are people who seem to die and then come back later and for me, one of those people is just heartbreaking for me. A few, actually.
All in all, I really enjoyed The Passage.

Anna Steele (111 KP) rated Scythe (Arc of a Scythe #1) in Books
Jun 15, 2018
Not feeling Deadish
I rarely give out 10/10 ratings
But Neal Shusterman deserves it
He has formed so many different worlds
Slightly different from our own
And wholely different from each other
He has brought me into Everlost
Shown me life after the Second Civil War
And now I have expirence a world
That has conquered mortality.
Two young people
Must learn how to kill people
The Sycthedom
Is the only political body standing
And it’s splitting
At its core
Massacrists
And compassionate killers
Must fight for the moral code
That will rule the only killers in the world.
This story is thrilling
And has left me not feeling so deadish.

I'm not sure what I think about this novel. I know that I liked it. I like Kitty Thomas' novels because they force me to think. I enjoyed the different aspects in this novel.
It seems that so many people are interested in BDSM and don't realize the depth that BDSM can go. I love the fact that Kitty showed the good along with the bad. Too many people think that BDSM is abuse and not in fact a lifestyle.
The characters are different and had some depth to them. This wasn't your run of the mill BDSM novel. It's not roses without the thorns. It's gritty and it forces you to look at your beliefs.

Helps keep track of my books
Follow other people and what they are reading
Reading challenge
If you are a bibliophile like me you will love this app. I use it daily and helps me stay up to date with the newest books (which doesn’t help my TBR pile ?) and I can follow other people and see their reviews and see what they are reading. I love writing reviews on the books I read and reading others and this is a great place for all of that. It is also a great way to keep track of your reading challenge to see how many books you read in the year!

Akward (448 KP) rated Marvel's Spider-Man in Video Games
Jan 5, 2019 (Updated Jan 5, 2019)
One of the best open worlds of any game (3 more)
Combat feels fluid
Plenty of things to do
Enjoyable platinum trophy
If you enjoyed playing Spiderman 2 for the PS2/Gamecube, you will enjoy this game. It is the successor in every way. But most importantly, it maintains the exception playground of Manhattan.
Overall, the story is good (not great) and will engage most people for long enough to justify the price of the game. I do not see a lot of replayability, as the combat can get old after a little while. But I think most people will spend long enough swinging around the city to be more than happy.

Nov 3, 2019 (Updated Nov 4, 2019)
It's funny (2 more)
It's one of a kind
It has some seriously catchy music
Not enough people have seen this!
Not many people I know have seen this so I tell everyone to give it a go.
A kids film, completely off the radar, as it's not branded (not pixar or disney etc) it's a German, Danish and Irish creation, about 3 children that take get into all sorts of problems. It bombed at the box office but it definitely didn't deserve the bad press, it's about family, loyalty, the importance of intelligence and a hint of magic.
It has funny, scary (for young kids anyway) , tense, lovable scenes that everyone can enjoy.
