As a mom, this book really filled me with all kinds of emotions. I can't imagine, however, going through the horror and confusion that Ellen had to go through. This book is filled with the perfect amount of twists and emotional turns to leave me thinking I knew what was next, only to find out I had to look again for the real answer. Highly recommended 4 star read!

What does feminism mean today? This explains what it means and offers a 20th century definition: inclusion and awareness. She points out institutional behaviours as well as blatant discrimination. She uses personal experiences to illustrate how bad this can be and what it means to be a woman today. Fantastic stuff!
Oh, and if you want to know whether I’d recommend it (the answer is yes), you only have to look at the example of Sweden, where they hand a copy of this book out to all teenagers, boys included, to read.

Best App to Track Reading & Personal Library Management
This is by far one of my favorite apps on my phone. I love using the app to keep track of books that I have read and books that I own. I also love the integration that the app has with my Kindle. It makes it easy for me to keep track of the books I have read and also to find new books that I am interested in. If you are a reader, you need to be on Goodreads.

A nice, quick and enjoyable read. I should say that I shouldn't really class this short story as a 'romance' as it is more of a dose of 'smut'...but good smut I might add.
It outlines the bully/victim relationship with a splash of attraction and lust leaving the reader wanting more. In my personal opinion I can not stand bullies and people who abuse others so it makes me cringe a bit when these people are so easily forgiven. Even so I would definitely consider reading the possible sequel.

I love anthologies. Especially ones that don't have to go with the rest of the series just expands upon the universe. Unlike some you have to read or you know you're missing something crucial between books 3 and 4( for example). There are spoilers in this anthology however Patricia Briggs does a good job letting you know and where the stories fit inside the Mercy and Alpha and Omega universe. My favorite is the Ben story Redemption out of all her characters he has the most personal growth.

Gripping
Sully was more than I expected. It superceded normal disaster movie/plane crash territory and took a narrative built on the personal story of Sully, the Captain of the plane.

This film viewed the crash from various perspectives and as a viewer you build an understanding of what happened and why. The experience of Sully himself and the first officer as their decision making and performance was investigated was rather brutal and made fascinating watching.

Tom Hanks played a believable character, controlled on the outside, doubting on the inside. Great performance.

Wow
This book was a real surprise, initially I was not that invested in the story. I felt like the storyline was a little basic but it got so much better. The characters grew on me and by the end I couldn't put the book down. It is illuminating and very well written. The author has used every word well to portray the story. There is a beautiful symmetry between the main character and issues raised throughout. It was personal on a level that I did not expect.

Fantastic Social Deduction/Deception game
My group has played this twice now, once with 5 players and once with 7. The more players seems to be a better option as this game scales higher better than lower.

Definitely a game where paying attention to your friends is paramount, and it can be extremely challenging to snuff out those pesky fascists.

Probable the most emotionally involved games we've played recently. So if you and your group enjoy some good natured personal conflict, this game is for you!

Friendships will be tested!
