This is my first time reading a book by Janice Carter and boy will I be reading more!

From the first page Janice Carter created a connection with her characters (and me) that I really enjoyed. It had a hint of mystery at the beginning, probably partially because I have not read the previous books in the series, but it intrigued me just the same. I liked the chemistry between Ben and Ella, the little flashbacks to days gone by was a special touch that let me feel like I had known the characters personal, and they had such good interactions with each other. Add in the good storyline and you have a recipe for a good relaxing evening (and if you are like me, wanting some hot chocolate to go with the book!

"I had to choose this one because it means so much to me in my life. When I met my wife we were listening to it a lot, so it's a really personal record for me, and a really romantic record. It's got a folk element but it's never silly, and on songs like 'Young Bride' it's really fascinating and beautiful. I went to see them at the Royal Festival Hall a couple of years ago and was absolutely blown away. I didn't know what to expect, but the singer had a real presence, a real energy, he was living it. It's the soundtrack to a very recent part of my life, and a very important moment to me personally. It has a huge emotional resonance for me."

Family Vacation Gone Wrong
Taken 2- it has good action and a good story but its forgettable. After watching it, you just forget about it. One and done film. Cant wait to watch the third one. Yay.

The plot: Two years ago, retired CIA agent Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson) used his "particular set of skills" to rescue his daughter, Kim (Maggie Grace), from kidnappers. Since then, Kim has been learning self-defense from her father, and Bryan has been on a personal mission to reunite with his ex-wife (Famke Janssen). In Istanbul, Bryan and his family cross paths with Murad (Rade Serbedzija), whose son died at Bryan's hand during Kim's rescue. Murad wants revenge, and he'll stop at nothing to get it.

Like i said its good.

"Both of these ruined me. They are what nightmares are made of: slippery women and unsavory dynamics. Things go sour when people get close fast. Which, according to both of these films, is like having your spirit sucked out of you without you knowing. 3 Women I watched my first year in LA; I’ve been here for ten. At the time I was living with two women, and the movie made me so nervous I couldn’t look them in the eye for days. Mulholland Dr. I watched last year. I should say I tried to watch it before, but the thing behind the garbage can left me so shook I stopped. Having finally made it all the way through feels like a personal victory. And what a glorious bummer it was."
