**BOOK SYNOPSIS**
It’s never too late to find love on the high seas.

Kate Caldwell is a 72-year-old romance novelist writing under the nom de plume, Desiree Desire. With more than thirty bestsellers to her credit, Kate is considered an authority on romance. Her personal life, however, has been lacking in the love department for a long time, and she has all but given up hope of finding a true, romantic connection. Her latest series, about a rakish eighteenth-century pirate, has been a struggle. Her struggle with her own creative processes boils over on a stormy night, when Captain Edward Peregrine, a pirate of the Caribbean during the year 1721, begins appearing to her as she sleeps. Convinced that Edward is a figment of her imagination, Kate happily accepts his return visits, and the two collaborate on the first two books of the series. Then, Edward suddenly stops appearing, and Kate is frustrated with her publisher’s demands for the next book.

In desperation, she decides to take a two-week cruise with her granddaughter, Ellie, hoping the chance to relax and watch the waves breaking in the beautiful waters of the Caribbean will reset her creative process. Little did Kate know that troubled waters lay ahead or that she’s in for the adventure of her life, and possibly, true love at long last.

It’s been a long space voyage, so long that the crew of the Space Warts is bored. Unfortunately, trouble finds them in the form of Commander Salamander, the notorious space pirate who is Commander Toad’s arch nemesis. He quickly boards the ship and plans to force the crew to play his favorite game, Hop the Plank. Can they get out of this situation?

I remember liking this one as a kid, but as an adult, it just doesn’t hold up well. The puns, a favorite of mine, aren’t on full display here. The twist at the end is just a bit too abrupt for me. I’m sure kids who are fans of these books will still enjoy it, however.

You Can Fly
Peter Pan- one of my all time favorite disney classic animations. I remember this one the most. I remember the charcters, the villian- captain hook, peter pan, Tick-Tock the Crocodile, tinker bell, the lost boys, the mermaids, mr. Smee, the idians, the cheif and the message of the movie- growing up.

The Plot: Wendy (Kathryn Beaumont) and her two brothers are amazed when a magical boy named Peter Pan (Bobby Driscoll) flies into their bedroom, supposedly in pursuit of his rebellious shadow. He and his fairy friend, Tinkerbell, come from a far-off place called Neverland, where children stay perpetually young. Enchanted, the kids follow him back. But when Pan's nemesis, the pirate Captain Hook (Hans Conried), causes trouble, the kids begin to miss their old life.

Its a phenomenal movie, with a great/fantastic/excellent message.

Book Rating
3.25 stars.

I'm not the biggest fan of sci-fi stories, I'll admit, but the cover has been taunting me for a while, both on Amazon and on here, so when the price was only 77p I thought, "Why not?

We were thrown straight into Renna's world as jumped straight into her first job of the book and it was a whirlwind of escapes, fighting and pulling off what seems impossible from there until the end.

I loved the tension between Renna and Finn! Even from the start you could tell something was brewing and I really enjoyed reading about it.

As for the rest of the crew, I grew to like them, even the Pirate :)

The ending has left me wanting to jump straight into the next book just to see if Renna and the crew can kick bad guy arse!
